From one grower to another: Document everything! The seeds you bought, the varieties you loved, the ones that were pest prone, ones people always commented on, vegetables you cooked with the most, ALL of it.

I make notes with a good ol’ fashioned clipboard and then summarize the season in a spreadsheet for reference during next year’s planning.

You think you’re going to remember, trust me, you’re not.

It’s the final countdown on this season, a frost is in the forecast and we won’t stop most of what is growing from going with it. I’m soaking in every minute around here and feeling oh so thankful 💐

We were supposed to be camping in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan last night, but we canceled our trip. Notoriously, a great place to view the Northern Lights. However, the universe delivered with a stunner of a show right here, at home, for the SECOND time this year. How lucky are we!

Thank you to everyone who came and shopped at The Sunday Farmers Market • Port Clinton, OH yesterday!
