Hey! Hey! A lot of kids are off tomorrow (Monday, February 10th) with mid-winter break. Why not pop over to Danielson’s and do some Valentine’s Day crafts in the greenhouse?! Tools and materials are provided to make bracelets, cards, and/or tiaras. We have juice, sparkling water and a keurig for hot chocolate, apple cider, tea or coffee. Don’t forget about our adorable props and a backdrop to take selfies 📸 $5/person and we’re open Monday 9am-4pm! Materials will be set out all week for family Valentine’s Day fun. Thursday we’re extending hours and open until 6pm. We hope to see you here 😊💘📸✂️✏️🪡👑

Join Arianna Brandt in the greenhouse and learn about the art of henna! Class will be Saturday February 15th at 10am. “Practice cones” and real henna cones will be provided for each person to learn different henna drawing and design techniques. First you will work on a reusable practice worksheet (yours to take at the end). If time permits, you could use real henna on your skin! If time doesn’t allow-you’ll be able to take all materials home for personal use.

Valentine’s Day crafts are set up in the greenhouse! Pop in, pay $5 and make something special for a loved one. We’re open, 9am-12pm today! Scrapbooking/card making, bracelet making and tiara making materials will be out next week too. Take advantage of our selfie station or utilize our kureig to have coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider or tea!

“Whimsical, unique, weird”

Happiest of birthdays to a unique flower lover! This monochromatic arrangement contains all shades of red. Fire red anthurium, red orchid, burgundy amaranth and mums. Coffee break roses are adding the perfect combination of all the reds!

It’s a choose or own adventure craftacular (I made that up)! $25 will save you a seat, get you drinks and snacks, a little music, and a choice of Valentine’s themed craft. Choose from making bracelets, valentine cards, or tiaras.

In addition to the craftacular-vendors will be in the house!! Guests will have the opportunity to get permanent jewelry from hoft.studio, henna from Arianna, candles from A Candle In The Dark.

Join us in the greenhouse TOMORROW Saturday February 1st for TWO opportunities to learn how to make jewelry from our own beloved Mavis from 🤩 If you’re obsessed with the style of her jewelry that we carry in our shop-you’ll LOVE this opportunity to make your own custom jewelry while learning some of her metal smithing techniques.

Metal Stamping For Everyone: Session One
Metal Poetry with Mavis 10am-12pm
In this class, you’ll learn how to create and align handstamped words and assorted designs from brass and copper. You’ll embellish your charms with your own special words. We will have a few writing prompts and exercises handy to inspire you! Starting with sheet metal discs, you’ll shape, file, stamp and texture. You’ll practice how to create word tabs and use jump rings. You’ll use metal stamps, hammers, and assorted punches to make tags and use files, cutters, and other texturing tools.
This is a 2 hour workshop and includes instruction, use of tools and enough course materials to make 6 charms or pendants. Additional materials will be available for purchase on day of workshop. All levels of experience are welcome!

Metal Stamping for Everyone
Session Two: Petite Landscapes 1pm-3pm
It’s time to dust off our hammers and get ready to stamp again... this time, we’ll learn how to create petite landscapes in brass and copper using several metal working techniques, and review lining up letters to create “word” jewelry. Workshop fee includes enough metal blanks for making earrings, pendants, keychains, or anything you’d like. You don’t need to bring any materials to class—all materials and use of all tools is included. Feel free to bring your own items if you have them. Cost of class includes a packet of metal blanks, if you’d like more, they will be available for purchase at class.
