The Key Room Home of Fresh Starts Chef Events with culinary celebrities. We host meetings, parties and more.

The Key Room is a dedicated event venue for business meetings, private parties and nonprofit events. Our staff can provides on-site catering with fresh and delicious food from coffee and pastries to a full-service seated banquet. We have a showcase kitchen for chef demonstrations and private cooking parties or can arrange culinary team building activities.

A culinary journey like no other! Join us on Thursday, February 20th for an exciting evening with Bay Area forager, Bryan Jessop of and Chef Seth Stowaway, the Michelin-star visionary behind .

Here's a peek at the evening's menu, which will include a beautiful three-course menu created from the wild bounty of the area:

Don't miss Michelin Star Chef, Seth Stowaway and professional forager, Bryan Jessop of Morchella Wild Foods at this month's Fresh Start Chef Event!

Opened in 2021, Chef Seth's restaurant, focuses on live-fire cooking and coastal ingredients such as wild ramps, morel mushrooms and Douglas fir needles. Chef Seth built his career among Bay Area diners first with a stint as sous chef at Mister Jiu’s and later as executive chef at Michelin-starred Bar Agricole.

has been a key purveyor at Osito since the start. Bryan Jessop will talk about seeking out wild ingredients and how he grew a business from his passion for exploring — and tasting — nature’s abundance.

Tonight's dinner: roast pork loin, fluffy house-made rolls and gorgeous roasted carrots. Dozens of these meals have been packaged and will be delivered to support our residents around the county. ✨ Spreading Holiday Cheer and Giving Back, One Bite at a Time! ✨

We were truly honored to welcome back our dear friend, at Thursday night’s Chef Event! The community came together for a stunning three-course dinner to kick off the holidays while supporting Homeward Bound of Marin.

Guests were treated to globally inspired dishes from Chef Joanne’s culinary adventures, including Fennel, Persimmon and Orange Salad and Beef Kefta with Preserved Lemon and Yogurt Sauce.

This incredible night would not have been possible without our talented chefs, dedicated front-of-house team, —many of whom are proud graduates of our Fresh Starts Culinary Academy — and of course, our volunteers, who bring their festive spirit (and wine service skills!) to every Chef Event!

It's Chef Event night in The Key Room! We've welcomed in Hanif Sadr from Komaaj, in SF (who's been here cooking with the team since 9 am!), Forest Middleton of FLM ceramics with his beautiful plates, and Bladgen wines who generously supported this event. There's always a hum of energy in the space during the moments leading up to the guests arrival - from rosebud prep and pomegranate prep, to synchronized service practice, to cake cutting. It's all team building and learning moments all night long over here.
