🌸 Botanical Mask Workshop 🌸

Join me on Saturday, October 26 at The Studio at Bowood Farms to create your own botanical mask. Besides having fun, here's what you can expect during our time together:

- How to choose reliable flowers and foliage for wearables
- How to look at floral elements to replicate things like feathers, scales, fur, etc.
- Which materials I source and where I find them
- The opportunity to be creative and play with flowers!

All materials are included with this 2 hour class, and you get to go home with your own wearable mask and the knowledge to keep it fresh for Halloween fun 🎃.

I highly recommend signing up with a friend, partner, or family member. This workshop is appropriate for ages 12+.

A statement piece that's versatile.⁠

The floral tapestry I designed and created for Maddy and Anthony is one of my favorite installations to date. It was full of seasonal color and texture that played off the color story the couple had chosen for their celebration. ⁠
⁠
After serving as a stunning ceremony backdrop, the tapestry moved to its place of honor behind the sweetheart table during the reception, allowing it to be enjoyed throughout the day and well into the evening. ⁠

Late spring bliss with Maddy and Anthony.

Maddy's bouquet and her bridesmaids' flowers deserved their own special post. The goal was playful and delicate with Maddy's flowers being a bit more subdued (but not any less of a showstopper). Her maids were each wearing different colors, so each posey was intended to complement their dresses.

Our fall subscription will be offered as beautiful hand-tied bouquets celebrating the wonder of fall flowers and foliage.⁠

Thoughtful: All flowers and foliage are local and seasonal. Each stem is sourced from local flower farmers or our own cut flower garden. You receive beautiful blooms at their peak!⁠
⁠
Curated: Each bouquet is wrapped in kraft paper and tied with ribbon. We leave the stems long enough for you to place/arrange in a vase (option to add on). ⁠

You will be able to select local pickup (Dardenne PR) or delivery.⁠

I'm really looking forward to the floral classes I have rounding out this summer season and taking us into fall. As a teaching artist, I find it's good to have a mix of tried and true favorites along with new offerings.

I'm grateful for the opportunity to offer my classes at a variety of amazing local businesses. The relationships I have built through this community are why I do these classes. My hope is for you to find something that speaks to you and join me at one or more of these upcoming events. If you're truly paying attention, inspiration is everywhere.

When I saw this piece by local artist Dionna Raedeke , I felt inspired to not just create a similar color story, but to create something with similar shapes and lines. The composition of her art spoke to me.

Bringing warmth and light to this rainy day.

I'm a big fan of layering - patterns, textures, florals. Add in some vintage taper holders and collected vessels, and you can't but feel invited to sit down and enjoy good company and and good conversation.

I definitely linger at the table after the food is gone, talking and sipping on whatever drink I have. How about you?

Join us for a morning at Long Row Lavender learning about seasonal tablescape design using local flowers.⁠

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to make a seasonal tablescape that is beautiful, inviting, and warm. Amy will guide you through her process of selecting florals and other seasonal elements to enhance your table, demonstrating her own tablescape. Attendees will then have the opportunity to work together crafting a harmonious design. ⁠

No previous floral design experience is necessary. Your workshop fee includes 3 glass bud vases, local flowers, 2 candles, and knowledge that you can take with you to create your own seasonal tablescape at home. ⁠
