Unfortunately we will not be able to open in April, due to some unforeseen circumstances with permitting needed from the county that we were originally told we did not need.
This is not the end, and we will continue to fight to help the community grow.
We truly appreciate everyone’s support and it means so much to know that there are people who do want an event park of this sort in Stanly County.
We will update as soon as we find out more information.

I wanted to take a moment to introduce the faces behind Barbee’s 4x4…

We are Chris and Winter Barbee. We have a two year old little boy and a baby girl due in March 2022. We met when we were 13 at the old Endy Tractor Pull, became best friends and in September 2018 got married. After having our son, we started thinking about him getting older and where would be safe for him and his friends to go on weekends to hang out. There really isn’t anywhere in Stanly County for our youth, so this is where our vision for Barbee’s 4x4 Playground came to life.

We hope to be able to provide a safe, family friendly environment for all ages for many years to come.
