🐾 Ocala Pet Palooza: A Purr-fect Event for Pet Lovers! 🐾

Calling all pet enthusiasts! The next Ocala Pet Palooza is in the works, and we can’t wait to bring you an event filled with everything pets and their humans love. 🌟 While we’re finalizing details for our 2025 show, here’s a glimpse of what you can look forward to:

🐾 Urgent Help Needed at Marion County Animal Services! 🐾

Our friends at Marion County Animal Services need your support! Their shelter is currently housing 310 animals, including:

🐶 134 adoptable dogs
🐱 61 adoptable cats
🐾 114 animals on stray holds
A huge thank you to the amazing community and rescue partners who have stepped up this week. Your support in adopting, fostering, and volunteering is making a real difference!

They still need your help! Spread the word and help them find loving homes for these wonderful animals.

How You Can Help:

Adopt: Give a forever home to a dog or cat.
Foster: Provide a temporary home and help an animal adjust.
Volunteer: Offer your time and love to their furry friends.

Exciting news from Sheltering Hands, Inc.! The Colony Cat Spay/Neuter program has expanded from Fridays only to now include EVERY Monday, Wednesday, and Friday for FREE spay/neuter surgery! That's right! There are spots available each day dedicated to colony cats! 😺

Here's what you need to know:
🔹 Spot Reservation: Secure your spot by registering at www.shelteringhands.org ahead of time.
🔹 Drop-Off: Bring your colony cats ONLY to our clinic at 10397 N US-27 in Ocala at 8 AM on the day of surgery.
🔹 Surgery & Pick-Up: Surgery will take place the same day, with pick-up scheduled for 5 PM.
🔹 No Cost: Thanks to generous grants from Marion County, there is zero cost for colony caregivers!
🔹 Requirements: All cats must be ear-tipped. They will receive surgery, rabies/FVCRP vaccinations, and a basic medical exam. You MUST be a Marion County resident.
