Started the day off great! Attend BNI Profit Makers meeting, worked some, but after lunch I felt the crud coming on. Nothing like a hot bowl of homemade chicken noodle soup curled up on the couch to do the trick. Praying this does not last long. Got too much work to get done, but nonetheless taking time to rest and heal.

🌅✨ There's something so timeless about a black & white photo, especially when it’s of a place as iconic as the Bahia Honda Bridge. This sunset shot captures the beauty of this historic bridge, which was once part of Henry Flagler’s Florida East Coast Railway in the early 1900s. 🚂🌉

Built in 1912, it stood as a vital link between the Florida Keys and the mainland until a hurricane in 1935 caused major damage. Today, it serves as part of the Overseas Highway and is a symbol of the resilience and beauty of the Keys.

I love how the sunset light creates such a dramatic contrast in black & white, showing the bridge in all its glory. The history, the beauty, and the quiet of the moment—it’s a reminder of how powerful simple moments can be. 🙏

🌅✨ A couple more of my favorites from 2024. There’s something magical about the Everglades, especially when you’re in the heart of the 10,000 Islands. These two photos were taken at sunset on the same island, the colors of the sky were stunning—purple, pink, orange, and blue—it’s the way the light dances on the water that truly captured my heart. 💜🧡💙

The 10,000 Islands have a rich history. They’re named for the countless small islands scattered throughout this part of the Everglades, a wild and untouched ecosystem that’s been home to Native American tribes for thousands of years. Later, Spanish explorers passed through, and today, the islands remain mostly uninhabited, a peaceful sanctuary for wildlife and anyone lucky enough to visit.

This was my first visit to this place, God definitely showed me just how beautiful it is!. 🌿🦢

Photo #3: Beach volleyball is always such a blast to capture! 🏐✨ This shot is from a UCF player during a tournament hosted by USF back in October. There’s something so relaxing about photographing beach volleyball—whether it's the intensity of the action or the pure joy of the moments in between. I love capturing the excitement, the energy, and the beauty of the game! 🌊🔥

Sports photography lets me freeze those unforgettable moments in time, and beach volleyball never disappoints. Can’t wait to share more! 🙌

🌅✨ This photo was taken at Bahia Honda State Park in the stunning Florida Keys. I was out on the beach snapping pics of this egret when, then waded out in the water to get a sunset shot of the Bahia Honda Bridge. Thenout of nowhere, he flew right in front of me and landed on a rock in the surf. 🙏 It was like he wanted his picture taken!

I had been planning to catch a sunset shot of the Bahia Honda Bridge, but sometimes nature just has its own plans. I am always amazed at the opportunities God puts in my path to capture the beauty and majesty of His world. 🌿🦅

Next up in my favorite photos of 2024—this one is a little different. It’s a photo of me. 📸 Taking a photo of yourself is tough. We know all our flaws, and it’s hard not to focus on them. As a photographer, I’m used to capturing the beauty in others, but I often forget to see that same beauty in myself. I see every wrinkle, every little flaw.
But God challenged me to step in front of my own camera—and I’m so grateful I did. He showed me my beauty, my strength, and how my imperfections make me uniquely me. 🙏✨
I want to challenge you to have a photograph taken by a professional photographer—someone who will truly listen to you, see the real you, and bring out the beauty that shines from the inside. I would be honored to be that photographer for you. ✨ 💖
