After a chaotic weekend, I had a nice relaxing evening watching the storms roll across the Northern part of the state near Blackwell. According to my radar, these storms are about 70 miles away. Isn’t that crazy?

Check out the video in the comments for a view at some of the storms impressive lightning activity. It made for some pretty dramatic shots that I’m excited to edit.

This session was monumental for me. This fun pair of cousins were the Seniors who inspired my senior marathons.
Since this session I’ve shot 20 sessions with this family. From senior sessions, stock show sessions, family pics & engagements to wedding & college grad pics - this family has been some of my best & most cherished clients for the last 6 years!
How has it been 6 years?!

On my camera roll, I have an album entitled “My Why” where I keep a collection of BTS & screenshots I’ve compiled from clients over the years of reactions & reviews. It’s a great pick me up for when times get hard & this year it’s an incredible celebration of how far I’ve come in the past decade.

Did I pull into the driveway for this party with a Sheriff on my tail? Yuppp 🙃

Did he let me off with a warning so I didn’t miss this incredible moment? Also yes! 😆

We had some friends high tailing it out to my traffic stop ready to sweet talk that deputy ☠️
He was so kind and gave me a stern warning, letting me go & not affecting our session at all!
We had a good laugh, I got a lot of side eye from Jared & we GOT THE SHOT 🤩
All in all, it was a fantastic day!

Congratulations to my sweet clients! Can’t wait for Baby Boy Clayton!
