✨Red Dirt, Roses & Reins ✨

I’m so proud to finally share the first glimpse of my most recent heart project.

This shoot has lived rent-free in my head for years.

A love letter to western weddings, Oklahoma roots, and the beauty that happens when creative people come together to bring a dream to life.

A dream of a bride and groom in a saddle, dressed for forever, framed by my favorite Oklahoma barn; the kind of western romance that feels timeless.

This spring, that vision finally became reality.

What started as a conversation with my friends at the Rustic Rose quickly became something so much bigger. One “yes” turned into another. Local vendors & large brand names came alongside the dream. Friends showed up without hesitation. Horses were loaded into trailers. Jewelry was unpacked. Dresses arrived. Hats were shaped. Boots were pulled on.

Even a broken wrist couldn’t stop this one.

Watching every piece come together—from the incredible florals and beauty team to the authentic western details, the horses, the gowns, and the people who poured their hearts into this project—was something I’ll never forget.

And trust me… this is only the beginning.

Greenery out here on The Red Dirt Ranch has peaked! Pair that with Rain Season Skies & you've got one of my favorite conditions for photos! This was my first session with my injured wrist & although I'm a little slower than usual, I'd say we did just fine!

So thankful for all of the trust this family has put in me over the Years, but especially this time with my newly injured wrist. I'm so glad we pulled off another great session!

It has been so much fun to photograph so many from Okeene's graduating class. I have known most of these kids since they were tiny, and many of their parents are incredibly special to me. What an honor it's been to capture their personalities and achievements & celebrate this milestone with them!
