It is with great sadness that we report the passing of our brother Wayne Swinny. Wayne passed away this afternoon from a Spontaneous brain hemorrhage while we were out on tour. Details for the funeral arrangements will be announced shortly. Wayne will be missed by all those who knew him.

I want to take a moment for a special shout out to The Nixons to take the time to sing one of my favorite songs, Passion, which I never thought it could have sounded better than the original version. It is seriously one of my favorite songs of all time, and so perfect for the fest. It’s raw and vulnerable, and love is not easy. We all get to places, where we take things for granted, and sometimes we need to be reminded of why we love the things we do, whether it is a relationship or even for the artists, as I think we helped make it where it wasn’t another gig. So many bands brought their family and friends, broke the veil, and had the time of their lives, reuniting with old friends and making new ones. This song makes me think of the couples that renewed their vows after so many years, and I hope Phillip and I get that kind of future, as they were just as inspirational. Thank you so much to Zac, Jesse, and the rest of the band for everything. You will always be one of my favorite bands, and you helped make that weekend epic for so many people. ❤️

I loved the excitement from the crowd in this picture, and I wondered who was on stage. I just realized, It was not when an artist was performing. This excitement and sign language of love was in support of two couples who were married on stage by Murv Douglas of Powerman 5000. At the end of the ceremony he had the crowd put their hands up in the air and all announce “You’re married!” It is so touching that moment of pure love was captured , and I don’t think I have ever experienced love in a crowd that could be captured in a photo like this…..Strangers coming together to support love. Shout out to all the people who planned, worked, and produced the show, especially Tony Travis, Whitney Cheek, Kassie Fields, and my husband, Phillip Thomas. Tony was the first person I reached out to with the idea, and I couldn’t be more grateful for all the hard work and dedication from the start, which started around March 2021. We had such an amazing team, and I am not going to write another novel tagging everyone again, LOL.
