These beautiful pieces have been sent to their forever homes but I’m still swooning over how beautiful the different flower shapes cast! This is a great time to remind you that not all white flowers dry the same! As you can see, in these beautiful blocks, this bride had a wide variety of all white flowers. They dried in various shades of white and ivory, and even, yellow, depending on the species! Just another neat way that nature reminds us how wild and untameable it is!

BRIDES!!! YOU MUST SEND DROP OFF INSTRUCTIONS TO WHOEVER IS DROPPING OFF FOR YOU!
It’s happened quite a few times recently and with last minute orders, that these instructions are not being sent to your family members that are dropping off, so they show up and don’t know what to do. That’s not fair to them. Or me.

My cousin passed away in May after a difficult battle with cancer. It was a rough period of time for my family, to say the least, however, beauty can still be found in the midst of sorrow. I was so glad to be able to create this piece for my mother, who was her godmother, from her funeral flowers. Now she has something beautiful to look at to be able to remember her in positive way- to remind her of sweet memories.

The sweetest memorial order for the absolute sweetest client! This lovely lady placed this order before her wedding order was finished, right before we went out of the country try for the first time, last year, and even gave us travel advice and a few euros to get us started. Seriously the nicest client ever!!!
Through a few obstacles, these beautiful babies are in their forever homes. Look how beautifully they sparkle in the sunlight! 😍

There’s something so special about colorful, garden-y flowers! Pops of color are such a joy to design and cast! While peonies are a personal favorite, and dry stunningly when fresh, they can be very fickle. Peonies have a, notoriously, short window of life and, if dried once they’ve already started to turn, can come out of the gel falling apart. No need to fear, we can do a bit of “flower surgery” to put them back together, although, once dried, the petals become very brittle and delicate, which makes this “procedure” a tricky and fragile undertaking!

A beautiful little sun spot on this beautiful memorial piece! Just like the enduring strength of love, these flowers persevered through overwhelming odds, including getting stuck over a long holiday weekend, in sub freezing temps, in a trailer at the shipping company. Luckily, with some careful work and selection, we were able to save enough to create this special piece!
