It’s happened quite a few times recently and with last minute orders, that these instructions are not being sent to your family members that are dropping off, so they show up and don’t know what to do. That’s not fair to them. Or me.

My cousin passed away in May after a difficult battle with cancer. It was a rough period of time for my family, to say the least, however, beauty can still be found in the midst of sorrow. I was so glad to be able to create this piece for my mother, who was her godmother, from her funeral flowers. Now she has something beautiful to look at to be able to remember her in positive way- to remind her of sweet memories.

A beautiful little sun spot on this beautiful memorial piece! Just like the enduring strength of love, these flowers persevered through overwhelming odds, including getting stuck over a long holiday weekend, in sub freezing temps, in a trailer at the shipping company. Luckily, with some careful work and selection, we were able to save enough to create this special piece!
