The Tiny Barn doors will be open for visitors this weekend and we would love to have you!✨

If you’ve been considering the Tiny Barn for an upcoming event, or if you just want to see it in real life, come on out this Saturday, 2/18! 🥂

The barn will be open 11-4, but appointments are scheduled for private tours to ensure that each guest gets plenty of time to relax, chat and envision their potential event - wedding, shower, pretty party, workshop…✨

Here is a peek at the “black and white room” a.k.a. the “bride room”. 🖤🤍🖤 Depending on the event, this cute room can be used for a variety of things…

If you’re hosting an event at the Tiny Barn, it’s is a great place to have guests drop off their coats and handbags so they don’t need to fuss with them during the party.

For weddings, this is the bride’s ready-room. 👰🏼‍♀️ Such a great place for photos… and the little window into the main barn is so much fun for capturing a peek at the guests without being seen.

The groom has a separate ready room, you’ll see that soon…🤵🏼‍♂️

This is what you see when you first step into the Tiny Barn…✨

The wood windows gracing the walls were salvaged from old homes undergoing restoration…and the little white bench was made by a local artist using an antique twin size bed. 🤍

The photo backdrop is simple & sweet and can be left just like this, or you are welcome personalize it for your
event by adding a banner, balloons or whatever you’d like.

Love how this area feels big & open, and tiny & cozy, all at the same time! 💞

If you’ve been wanting to see the Tiny Barn in person, the next open house is scheduled for Saturday, February 18th. ✨

The barn will be open all day, but appointments are scheduled for private tours to ensure that each guest gets plenty of time to chat and talk through their potential event - wedding, shower, pretty party, workshop…💞

The Tiny Barn really doesn’t need much when it comes to decor for events - the simple beauty of the barn sets the perfect backdrop for any pretty party, with little to no work for the hostess…

Unless the hostess loves to decorate, and then it’s the perfect backdrop for creativity of all types! ✨

The family behind this beautiful baby shower went all out…from balloon garlands to itty-bitty baby clothes displayed on the cutest clothes line, and so many more adorable details. So much fun to watch it all come together!

AND so much fun to watch this gorgeous mommy step into the barn with tears in her eyes, taking in all the beauty as her friends & family surrounded her with so much love! 💛

I’ve known this beauty since she was a little girl - I went to high school with her mom who is one of my closest friends. 💞 So, needless to say, it was so much fun to have Sorelle’s bridal shower in the barn!

Her aunt (another dear friend) coordinated all the details…which came together so beautifully! The most perfect flowers, desserts by , and the gorgeous grazing table by the .

Hi friends!🤍 It’s been a while since I’ve posted on here, so I thought should hop on and say “hi”!

2022 has been a very busy & wonderful year for me personally, with one of the high points being my beautiful daughter’s spring wedding at The Barn on Jackson in Chehalis! I cannot recommend the highly enough if you’re looking for a large wedding venue, it’s incredible!!

I was flying high in this picture, taking in all the beauty of the reception space before the guests made their way in to celebrate. I had spent months pouring over every detail and it was such a dream to see it all come together! ✨

Anyway…I’ve been getting quite a few messages asking if things are still happening in the Tiny Barn, and the answer is YES… I just don’t advertise or post on social media much.☺️

‘Twas a busy & beautiful spring and summer in the Tiny Barn, with lots of girly gatherings…bridal & baby showers, birthday celebrations, and even a charcuterie workshop (so fun!).

In the coming days, I will feature a few of the 2022 events, and then it’s time to move on to my FAVORITE time of the year…✨🎄✨

The barn will be full of Christmas cheer again this December with another Girlfriends Weekend, as well as the opportunity to host your own Christmas gathering in the Tiny Barn! Stay tuned… 🥰

Hey friends, it’s been a while! 💛 If we don’t know each other personally, most likely you don’t know that I started working full-time (apart from running a business) last November. It has been wonderful and I LOVE my job!

This past year, I have taken the time to settle into M-F/8-5 work life, enjoying the simplicity & stability of having a ‘real job’ 😉, knowing that, when the time was right, I could step back into doing a little creative work as well. ✨

After much thought & prayer, I’ve determined that the time is right. I’m not going to be doing nearly as much as I did before, and little weddings won’t be happening for now, but I’m so incredibly excited for what I will be doing! 🥰

It’s combining my passion for many things, but also keeping things very SIMPLE. For me, nothing stifles my creativity more than being overwhelmed and overly busy.

All that to say, this Tiny Barn door is opening again in December for one very special weekend - I can hardly wait to share about it with you! I’ll say more tomorrow. Stay tuned… xoxo,

When your son’s dream girl steps around the corner and takes everybody’s breath away…❤️

Like so many Summer 2020 weddings, plans and dates changed several times for Austin & Suubi’s wedding. A big June wedding in Boston was the original plan - when that ended up not being possible, we were so thankful that Suubi’s immediate family was able to travel here for a sweet wedding in the barn…and for Zoom so that her extended family all over the world could join us virtually.

Thankfully, the African wedding celebration that her amazing parents had been dreaming of is FINALLY happening this week…a whole year later…in Uganda!! 🇺🇬 I wasn’t able to make the trip but I’m anxiously awaiting pictures…I have no doubt it is going to be incredible! ✨💛✨

One frequently asked question is if guys have a space to get ready, like the girls do. The answer is yes!

The guys’ ready room is located in the building next to the barn. As you can see in these images from my son‘s wedding, the guys don’t always keep it as tidy as the girls do theirs 😳, but it is the perfect space for them and always a jolly place. 😎

You can take a peek when you come to the open house on Saturday night. We’re getting excited!

The bridal suite was overflowing with beauty and joy on this very special wedding day last summer! I adore every TBW bride, but this one is extra special to me…she is my daughter-in-law, Suubi. ✨

It was important to Hunter & Kennedy to share a personal moment during the ceremony by taking communion as one of their first official acts as husband and wife.
