Call for Food Donations,
This August 2023, Oneida Nation of Wisconsin will be hosting the Great Law of Peace recital. The Oneida community has put in a request to the Haudenosaunee Confederacy to have the recital brought to Wisconsin. This invitation is to bring the message of the Peacemaker who traveled across turtle island to bring the message of peace to all people. In lieu of this event a food committee has been created to plan, prepare, and cook three meals each day for the four days of the recital. This is a large task but we have a great committee that is working diligently to make this happen. The committee has estimated feeding 800-1000 people at this gathering. We kindly request food donations for this event if you are able. Donations in the local area can be dropped off at the Oneida Cannery, N7210 Seminary Rd, Oneida, WI 54155 and they can be reached at (920) 869-4379.
