This past Saturday we (Elena’s Michael Catering) had an amazing opportunity as we were hired to cater all 3 meals for Country Music Star Martina McBride, her band and crew before their performance that evening. They seamed to enjoy our typical appetizers like Eggplant Companata, Asparagus wrapped in Puff Pasty Sausage Wrapped in Bacon along with our main entrée’s of Breakfast Sandwiches, assorted Specialty Sandwiches for Lunch and Roasted Pork Center Cut wrapped in Bacon with Apricot glaze and Chicken Parmigiana, Roasted Potatoes w/Rosemary, Green Beans rolled in Olive Oil, black pepper, sea salt and granulated garlic, and a huge Summer Salad! Needless to say every single Dessert option of Cheesecake wedges topped with Strawberries and Blueberry’s (in cupcake wrappers) and Italian Cookies were eaten on the spot or we wrapped up along with other goodies for their 16 hr bus trip back home to Nashville Tn. Btw, they had 3 travel buses and a tractor trailer for approximately 25 of them and their equipment
I enjoyed meeting Martina who I was actually able to chit chat with at dinner and she even stopped to take a picture right before she went on. We also enjoyed visiting with the band members and staff, one being as friendly as the others. It was cool to see the band members come back out dressed for the stage and warm up and get ready to perform. Reminded me of pregame from my College Football coaching days.
Here are some pictures of our incredible day. Our buffet was about 20’ from the stage. I was so impressed with the promoter, host venue and all involved on how flawlessly those professionals produced this event.
