After week 7 of 10 (November 27th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Mike Bu. leapfrog me on the leaderboard and Alan C. build a bigger lead atop the leaderboard. It was our last couple of games before our month long break and it was great to see everyone laughing and having fun! This month break will fly by and we will be back at it before you know it. After week 5 of 10 (November 13th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw the world right itself and get me a win to get into the tournament! I played some good cards, but got lucky on the river when I needed to. As she does in almost every game Nikki T. played some great cards, but just came up a little short. In the first game Chris F. played some great cards against Tom B., but Tom was able to finish him off in the end. We also had our costume night and you guys really turned out. Nice work to all of you for your fantastic costumes and to Mike Bu. for playing the entire first game in costume!! In our actual games we saw Rob C. win his second game in short time and get locked into the tournament. After week 2 of 10 (October 23rd, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Mark H. play an impressive game (as he usually does), and bring home one of the last October special trophies. In the second game Alan C. had some ups and downs but had the ups when it mattered most. Sharla H. put up a good fight, but to no avail.. Alan C. has been quite a bit of a bounty hunter as of late. We want to congratulate Mark H. on his fancy new hat in the picture (BWAHAHAHA). Great work to everyone and sorry that this post is a week behind. Tim was unstoppable as he handled game one pretty easily and Cheryl made a HECK OF A COMEBACK to get herself the win and the special October trophy! Oh man! This title reign is long overdue as he is one of our best weekly players!! After week 6 of 10 (September 11th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Alan C. put on an absolute clinic!!! He couldn't miss. He made the right calls at the right time and eventually we will learn that if there is an Ace on the board and Alan is calling....HE HAS THE ACE!! Fuzzy put up a good fight, but Alan was unstoppable. He won trivia on Monday night, and both games on Wednesday night....BUT we can blame him for Sunday's Lions loss as he was at the game! After week 4 of 10 (August 28th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw a mother/daugher finale for the win in game one, and this guy finally got himself a win in the second game. Maybe this is my 10 weeks to bring home the title.....but probably not. We also got to see again how great you all are with your birthday gift for me, singing me happy birthday, and showing up for a great night! After week 2 of 10 (August 14th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw another awesome Cheryl R. win picture, and John S. stave off the headhunters to get their wins. Cheryl R. made a hero call to take Tim K. down, and John S. played tight to maintain and build his chip stack. John S. finished 2nd last week and said, NOT THIS WEEK and brought home his trophy.
