After week 10 of 10 (January 22nd, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Chris F. say that the one win last week wasn't enough and got himself another one! Alan C. wasn't happy that Tim K. took the top spot on the leaderboard from him and got a win to retake that spot. I want to give a huge shoutout to Nikki T. as our first alternate with EIGHT bounties. She was quite the bounty hunter this 10 weeks. Nice work Nikki T! Our December break was good for us all as I have had so much fun with everyone since we came back. For those of you that haven't rejoined us, we miss you bunches and look forward to you coming back. Thanks for coming out as we couldn't do it without you all. We would like to honor Big Sug and Jeremy K. with the second place ribbons this week.

After week 9 of 10 (January 15th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Chris F. get himself locked into the tournament and Mark H. climb quite a ways up the leaderboard! Tim K. put up a good fight against Mark H. in the first game but nothing was stopping Mark from bringing home the trophy. In the second game we saw a family battle. I always love watching Gary Fo. and Chris F. play heads up. Thanks for coming out as we couldn't do it without you all. We would like to honor Tim K. and Gary Fo. with the second place ribbons this week.

Tim K. brought home the win in the second game after a solid first game second place finish. It was great seeing everyone again. There are some fun changes coming to our weekly games and I'm glad that you are all a part of it. Thanks for coming out as we couldn't do it without you all. It was our last couple of games before our month long break and it was great to see everyone laughing and having fun! This month break will fly by and we will be back at it before you know it. After week 2 of 10 (October 23rd, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Mark H. play an impressive game (as he usually does), and bring home one of the last October special trophies. In the second game Alan C. had some ups and downs but had the ups when it mattered most. Sharla H. put up a good fight, but to no avail.. Alan C. has been quite a bit of a bounty hunter as of late. We want to congratulate Mark H. on his fancy new hat in the picture (BWAHAHAHA). Great work to everyone and sorry that this post is a week behind. Tim was unstoppable as he handled game one pretty easily and Cheryl made a HECK OF A COMEBACK to get herself the win and the special October trophy! Oh man! This title reign is long overdue as he is one of our best weekly players!! After week 8 of 10 (September 25th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw one of our long time players get her first win. A HUGE congrats to Val J. for her first win. NICE WORK VAL!!! Welcome to the tournament. Our other winner this week played cards. We aren't going to say played good cards, but she played them well enough to win. LOL! I kid I kid. Jen S. got herself locked into the tournament by taking the win in the first game. A huge shout out to Big Sug for placing second in both games this week. Nice work sir. You were destined to lose that first game....5 - 2 offsuit. We couldn't do this without all of you so thank you for spending your Wednesday nights with us! We would like to honor Big Sug with both of the second place ribbons.

As of right now, the 10 week tournament will be on October 15th at 7:00 pm SHARP.

As these are weekly games, you can join any week, but you don't have to play every week. At the end of the 10 weeks we will have an invitational of the players that have the title of "qualified" below. You automatically qualify for the invitational if you win a game. If you win a bounty only then you become an alternate and can fill an empty spot if there is one not being filled by a qualified person.

After week 7 of 10 (September 18th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Alan C. mark up another win on the leaderboard and Tom B. etch his name on the qualified list for the tournament! Fuzzy put up another good fight, but Alan struck him down again. Give Fuzzy a break Alan. Tom B. fought his way out of a tough table #2 and got it done on this night. After week 6 of 10 (September 11th, 2024) of the "Chip and a Chair Invitational", we saw Alan C. put on an absolute clinic!!! He couldn't miss. He made the right calls at the right time and eventually we will learn that if there is an Ace on the board and Alan is calling....HE HAS THE ACE!! Fuzzy put up a good fight, but Alan was unstoppable. He won trivia on Monday night, and both games on Wednesday night....BUT we can blame him for Sunday's Lions loss as he was at the game!
