This Thanksgiving🤎, I want to take a moment to reflect on how truly grateful I am. Southern Sky Designs is built on Philippians 4:13: “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” That faith has carried me through the tears, late nights, and challenges of balancing motherhood and building this business.✨🤎

But this week, I can truly say: I am grateful.🧡
Grateful for the setbacks that taught me resilience.
Grateful for the growth I once prayed for but didn’t fully believe was possible.
Grateful for the ups, the downs, and everything in between.

When I say I run a family hustle, I mean all hands on deck—kids included! 🤣🤣 Since Skylar was out of school, she got to tag along with me to a styled shoot I had. I told her she was going to help me lay out the items we brought and encouraged her to put as much input, thought, and say-so into everything as possible. I want her to get comfortable with what we do, not just within the household, but out in the world. My hope is that as we grow, she’ll feel confident stepping into areas where I can’t always be present. She did an amazing job—not only helping me but also assisting other vendors at the shoot.
