I enjoy helping brides & grooms put together their special day and making sure that day runs smoothly and stress-free for the newlyweds. A wedding coordinator is essentially the go-to person for the bride and groom during the planning process of a wedding. Wedding coordinators use their extensive knowledge, experience and contacts to help couples put together their dream wedding. A coordinator can
be entrusted with multiple responsibilities, ranging from providing guidance during the planning process to making sure that the big day runs smoothly. Some couples prefer to handle all of the planning before the wedding and then have someone else take care of the actual wedding day. A wedding coordinator is hired to make sure everything runs smoothly - e.g. making sure the right flowers are placed on the tables, the correct song is played when the newlyweds take the dance floor, and the cake is cut and distributed at the right time. Other times, a couple may know exactly what they want in a wedding but may not want to handle everything by themselves. If that is the case, they would hire a coordinator to find and schedule vendors based on the the couple’s personal selections. Other couples may want to simply delegate the entire planning process to someone else. In these situations, the wedding coordinator would be handed a budget and a list of requirements and then commissioned to put together the perfect affair. My specialty is in day-of coordination. Before the wedding, I put together a timeline for the couple so they can visualize the schedule of events. On the actual day, I correspond with all the vendors to make sure that the preparations are set up in a punctual and ideal manner. I also orchestrate the day’s events so that everything (the bridal entrance, family photographs, wedding toasts, bouquet toss, etc.) may seem like a seamless procession. Unlike other wedding planners, I do not offer package deals because I will work with your needs and expectations.
