I am a music coordinator and trained vocalist helping couples plan the wedding music of their dreams! I have always loved music. St. Cecilia, pray for us!

Growing up in a Navy family, I was able to experience many different musical traditions in various parishes. Singing in the choir became a constant in my life, from grade school all the way through college and into the present. During my sophomore year of high school, I also started cantoring at Mass. This experience led me to pursue a minor in music at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. During c

ollege, I served as the music director at the UNL Newman Center for three years. This opportunity allowed me to delve deeper into the beauty and tradition of sacred music in the Catholic Church, and during this time I began singing for weddings as well. After graduating in 2016, I became the choir director, and eventually liturgy director, and wedding music coordinator at my current parish, where I served for five years. Now, I continue to serve as a cantor in my parish and seek out opportunities to participate in special sacred music performances within my community. In January 2018, I started my own wedding music business. My goal was to use my talents to glorify God and assist Catholic couples in understanding and experiencing the profound beauty of the Mass, specifically during their wedding ceremony. The constant pursuit of knowledge and growth inspires me; whether it's learning about new aspects of the liturgy and sacred music, or acquiring new musical and technical skills, I constantly strive to expand my expertise. This allows me to be more creative in assisting couples to bring their wedding music dreams to life in a way that magnifies God's glory. Music is a powerful tool for spiritual transformation, and I am humbled to play a role in helping others encounter God's beauty through sacred music.

I closed out the 2025 season with some amazing and humbling events, and now it's time to focus on Baby Girl's arrival at the end of December!🩷Since my last post at the end of June, here's where I've been singing:

✅ July 19 - Daily Mass at the Holy Family Shrine
✅ July 23 - Funeral for my grandma, singing with my dad and brother, at St. Louis Catholic Church, Castroville, TX
✅ August 6 - Healing Mass with the SCB Praise & Worship Choir at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church - Gretna/Omaha, Neb.
✅ August 14 - Funeral at St. Patrick Catholic Church Gretna, NE
✅ September 5 - Wedding at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church - Gretna/Omaha, Neb.
✅ September 6 - Workshop Presenter for the St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church - Gretna/Omaha, Neb. Choir Retreat
✅ September 20 - Wedding at St. Patrick Catholic Church Gretna, NE
✅ September 22 - Adoration Service at Saint Columbkille Parish
✅October 4 - Long-distance coordination of wedding music for a couple at Newman University in collaboration with the Wichita Chamber Chorale

And if I'm still on my feet/back on my feet, the last couple events planned for this year are a Healing/Adoration service on November 21 at 7pm (open to the public) and our parish's annual retreat on January 16-17, both at St. Charles Borromeo singing with the SCB Praise & Worship Choir; and I've got just a few more weekends of cantoring scheduled before I'm officially on baby-watch in December 🥰🎶

Not to mention many weekends of Sunday cantoring plus leading music for a Eucharistic Procession at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church - Gretna/Omaha, Neb.! Looking forward to the little break I have now for the next few weeks 😌

And all of that after finding out on May 5 that we are expecting Baby Gaston #2, due at the end of December! Yes, the morning sickness has been brutal, but I wasn’t gonna let my clients down if I could help it!

So with that being said, I have just a few weekends left still available for weddings in August, September, and October. I will be taking November and December off to prepare for Baby, and taking maternity leave in January and February to adjust to being a family of 4. God is good! ❤️👶🏻

Also, this wasn’t planned, but I think it’s fitting that I am making my quarterly-ish social media post on 😂

In honor of the Solemnity of the Immculate Conception of the Blessed Virgin Mary, here's one of my favorite Marian hymns, Ave Maria by Gregory Norbert. I had the great pleasure to perform this with Chris Poutre as the prelude to the Saturday Daily Mass at the Holy Family Shrine in Gretna two days ago. Sancta Maria, Ora pro nobis! ✝️💙🤍

Another busy month+plus coming up!

And what you don't see here are the two-hour rehearsals every Sunday, three-hour dress rehearsal on a Saturday, all day Sat/Sun rehearsal for one weekend... ah, the life of a musician!! 🥰🎶

I'm very excited to be able to join once again with the Lincoln diocesan choir for their 2024 Give Glory to God Concert on November 17th, and also with the Voices of Omaha for their annual performance of Handel's Messiah on November 24th.
