Santa spent a couple of hours at the Mervyn Sharp Bennion Central Utah Veterans Home in Payson, UT today and I can’t tell you how rewarding an occasion it was. Veterans were thanking Santa for coming and Santa was thanking them for their service and spending time talking with them about whatever they wanted to talk about, as well as having pictures made with them.
They were beyond amazing and so humble about their service to our country. They talked about how grateful they were Santa came to visit and all Santa could think about was how blessed he was to be there with these amazing men and women and experience all they had to offer. One Veteran was so moved he took Santa’s hand and held it in a kiss and thanked him for being there.
This experience was most definitely the hallmark of Santa’s Christmas. God bless all of our Veterans. May they have the peace and joy they so rightfully deserve.
I think Santa will be visiting just to listen and share throughout the year. Please consider doing the same wherever you might be.
