A moment again for the didiscus (‘blue lace flower’). A new addition to our farm, productive over several weeks during the heart of our season, and a welcome pop of three prettiest periwinkle hue. Ethereal and hard to capture in pictures. Can’t wait to welcome her back next spring. 🩵

I didn’t do a big crop this year, and the ones I did plant I tried in a different location than last year/they weren’t as happy - but that’s okay! It’s how you learn. Regardless, their cute little poms still make me smile. They deserved a spot here for the season 💕

As the season nears a close, I can’t help but mention this year’s MVPs - the flowers that not only pulled their weight in our wild climate, but truly surprised me and were beautiful and productive all season long.

This was my first year growing delphinium - strangely, I felt called to introduce more blue flowers to the farm this spring - and I have been impressed by the long stems and consistent harvests, especially the second flush right as things started to heat up! The plants have been healthy and robust, and I’ve enjoyed the small magic of tucking these ethereal stems into bouquets from March - June🩵🌸

A moment (the first of many to come) for this beautiful bouquet - the perfect combination of earth, light and sky and a wonderfully perfect poem in flowers for its lovely owner. Every stem selected with care from the garden. How lucky am I, to celebrate strangers, loved ones and sweet friends through flowers? 🩵🤎🤍

Days are starting to move like molasses - slow, steady, sticky. I can feel myself slowing down too, adapting like the flowers, all of us ready for rest soon. Two more weeks then a sweet break for summertime. Thank you all for being here. I think it often and maybe say it less. Grateful, always. 💕
