Just wow! Seeing all your Valentine’s Day pre-orders bundled up this morning in the soft light made me a little emotional. Thank you all for supporting local flowers and our urban farm! What a dream!

All valentines orders have been dropped off at and are ready for you to pick up today and tomorrow (Friday). As a reminder - pick up hours are from 11 am - 6 pm both days. Be sure to give Sarah and her amazing shop some love while you’re there, too! 💕

Spring has officially arrived! 🌸

There’s a lot blooming with the heat right now and it feels good to be harvesting again for you all! The snapdragons are in full swing and there is plenty to share this week! I’ve added a few snapdragon bunches to the online farm store for local pick up - we are so grateful for the support during this busy time 💕

The first few stems of ranunculus are here and they are nearly perfect. I can’t wait for all the harvesting this week for Valentine’s Day!

Snapdragons have my heart, as they always mark the start of flower season here in Central Florida and the end of flowerless days. We’re growing 3 colors of early spring snaps this year - lavender, hot pink, and apple blossom, and the shift to warmer days already has plants rolling right along. Let me know your favorite color in the comments!

In case you missed it yesterday in our newsletter - pre-orders for Valentine’s Day flowers are live on our online farm store! There’s one option available this year, a medium-large size tissue and kraft paper wrapped garden-style bouquet, featuring seasonal blooms from our urban farm. All bouquets are for local pick up ONLY at on Thursday, February 13 and Friday, February 14. 🌸

Officially on flower watch at the main plot, with some of the first blooms joining the party - fragrant stock, campanula and poppies! Snapdragons are on deck, too. It’s going to be a beautiful spring!

Won’t be long now 🌸

This photo is from last spring, a moment in time in early March when the entire plot was in full bloom following our return from our honeymoon. It was like walking into a dream, and a memory I revisit often when things feel cold and colorless. We’re still in winter here, but today, January 15, the field is nearly 75% in bud and the very first of 2025’s flowers will be blooming soon. Pastel snapdragons and fragrant stock, poppies and ranunculus, even the very first confused campanula on sweet shortie stems. Every year is different in its own way. Won’t be long now ❤️
