Our final fair of the season is done. Great fun was had by mermaids, monsters, flower folks, and more. On to company picnics, birthdays, and summer reading programs.

Case Face Painting just finished 8 gigs in 7 days. Appanoose and Davis County fairs are wrapping up. I am so heart-warmed, and so tired! Fair season is wonderful. I love seeing kids I have watched grow up with their young siblings and cousins. Next weekend- Monroe County Fair! Make plans to visit the 4H food stand. It is amazing. BEEF - it's what's for dinner. (And pork)

We SE Iowans have great lives. Take a breath and a moment to truly appreciate it. Go to the Fair.
