Hello Friends! 💗🌸
I took advantage of the sunshine this past weekend and got 810-ish 😅 tulip bulbs planted! I got another shipment on Sunday and I have another coming later this week so I’ll have more to plant but am happy with the progress! I’ll definitely have under 2000 bulbs this year but I’m hoping it’s more manageable than this past tulip seasons counts.

I’m excited in the favorite varieties I’ve already planted and the new ones to come and I hope you are too!! 🌷🌷🌷 I still have tulip bulbs left! Reach out to me if you’re interested!

It’s the perfect time of year to plant tulips! 🌷
I’ve got some tulip packs ready to go for sale! I have limited quantities of each of the packs listed below, but please take a look and send me a message if you’d like some! They are $12 for 10 tulip bulbs and the sales will be first come first serve! Pick up is in Palatine at my home address near Fremd High School.

Tulip Interest post! 🌷 💐
I’ve been holding off on posting my tulip inventory as I was wanting for a larger order that I just found out was mostly cancelled 😢. Unfortunately I won’t be getting some of the original varieties I’d hoped for, but it’s opening doors for me to look on!

I found that there may be availability of these two beauties (plus about 5 other varieties I’d offer with lower availability) that I’m eyeing and I would like to turn this into an interest post! Assume that the price point would be around $15 for a set of 10 and I will lower it if I can!

Dreamer is one of the hottest light pink tulips on the market and I didn’t put it in a lot of bouquets last year because it was so pretty in the garden that I didn’t want to cut it! 💗 It has multiple blooms and would be an incredible landscaping tulip and I plan on using it for cut flowers as well.

Akebono is a gorgeous bright yellow and it’s one of the first tulips to bloom in the garden! The bloom is huge and unique and amazing! I’ve grown this one for many years now and it’s highly recommended. The stem length is really long and it definitely can be used for tulip arrangements. 💛

Happy Monday, Lovelies! 🌸
I’m enjoying the very last of our rose beauties. They’ve been finicky this year with bug and disease pressure, but in the end they gave me one last burst of blooms to enjoy. 💗 I learned a lot this year and I’m hopeful they’ll be even better next year!

So today was a BOAT TON of work and it’ll be the same tomorrow. 😅 My hubby and I cleared the dahlia beds (no more dead black stems yay!) and I started digging up the clumps. I have a ton to go but it was a really good start and I have great news! The dahlia tubers look great! 🤩 For a dahlia gardner, digging up tubers is kind of like a treasure hunt. You just don’t know what you’ll find under the ground and I’m always usually pleasantly surprised. 💗 The better the tubers, hopefully the better they store until spring so I can grow these beauties again.

Hi Everyone, today is the great Dahlia dig! 🌸🌸🌸
From what I can tell, my dahlias made really great tubers and so I’m gonna be selling some of my extras right now for the fall. Please only consider buying dahlia tubers from me now if you have experience with storing dahlias. First up I have Sandia Bertha, which is a beautiful purple waterlily and I’m gonna sell this entire clump for $50! If you’d like it shipped, I can ship it out to you on Monday and I will add the shipping fee to the total.

Well I spoke too soon 😢 The dahlias are all done for the year. The frost kissed them goodbye last night and the leaves all turned black today. At least it happened closer to the weekend so I can spend some time digging, cleaning and storing them for the winter season! More pics to come!

It’s officially time to focus on the fall prep and with that comes tulip bulbs!! I’ll be getting some of my tulip bulbs in this weekend and will be staring to post tulip bulb sale information! If you’re interested, please stay tuned because more information will be posted very soon! 💗💗💗

Yesterday after work, I went outside to spend some quiet time in my garden taking it all in… every bloom, all the colors, and taking tons of pictures. And then I came back inside and broke down in tears. Part of me is ready for the fall cleanup and tulip planting to start, but the other part wants all of the pretty flowers to stay just a little while longer. 💗

Mother Nature seems to have heard me because it seems we skipped a hard frost last night and this cold spell will pass. I’m amazed that my hearty hibiscus are even still blooming! 😂🌸

I have tons of work to do with the fall bed cleanup and flip so it’ll be nice to work in warmer temperatures this upcoming weekend and hang onto those blooms for just a little while longer. 💗

These… Tulips! You are not going to be able to find these tulips anywhere else! 🌷💗💐 You will only find these types of tulips at small growers like US!! They are absolutely amazing! They have incredible colors, incredible vase life, incredible fragrance, and they are the freshest flowers that you’ll ever get unless you pick them from your own garden. After doing some research through my wholesaler, you won’t even be able to find these tulips at a florist! Unless they buy their tulips from us, of course 😉! Hello Little Planties! 🌱🌿 Normally in mid-Feb, we’re stuck inside and outside it’s covered in snow. It’s been unusually warmer here which has triggered some of the peonies, tulips, daffodil, and hyacinth to start to wake up! I’m skeptical though and keep reminding them to go back to sleep 😆. Indoors we have our ranunculus and anemones growing nicely and our lisianthus are still hanging in there! I’ll be starting to go through dahlia tubers to divide them and start more seeds this week.
