Hello my friends.
This update has been long overdue, and for that I apologize.
A lot has happened in my life in a very, very short amount of time.
In October 2022, I left an 18 year marriage. I chose myself. I chose to walk away from 26 years of abuse and start my life over.
In the last three weeks, I have quit my job, found my true calling in life, became a certified caregiver, a certified med tech and am in medical school to become a CNA. I am working on becoming an RN for private home health focusing on our seniors and our veterans. I will combine both my love of being a Chaplain with my love of nursing to care for our seniors and veterans.
I am currently working as a sole provider for Medicaid and Medicare while I am in school taking care of a patient full time.
I am available still on the weekends or during the week by special request.

I'm going to get real and honest with you people. Because I am transparent.
I am honest.
I have survived 25 years of domestic violence.
Sexual assault.
Battery.
Almost being killed.
I have PTSD.
I have insomnia.
I have severe anxiety.
This is the thing that has been bugging me all night.
My entire life I've been bullied about my weight.
I've been too skinny and told to eat.
Or too fat and told to be thin.
The first thing I was told in October after my separation by a female friend. Now you can lose weight and be skinny for men.
I have deep rooted self-esteem issues.
Deep rooted.
So deep, that when you cut the branches, they bleed.
Two men I was married to made me feel unattractive.
Made me feel unavailable. Made me not like myself. Because they didn't like me.
I was in a relationship with two women.
They never put me down.
They never made me feel fat.
They never forced me to lose weight.
Never watched what I ate.
Never watched what I didn't.
Or made snide comments.
Or didn't look when I was naked.
I'm almost 44.
I can love and respect myself.
I can appreciate how hard I've worked to get where I am.
But I can't look in a mirror.
I can't.
It still cuts too deep.
I wore a bikini, in public, on Saturday.
I let someone take a picture of me in a bikini.
For the first time in a very, very, very, long time.
It took a lot for me to do that.
So, when I ask someone I love to look at me, I'm asking because I can't.
I'm asking because I still can't.
When I ask you to see me, it's because I can't.
I do not see pretty.
I do not see attractive.
I see tired.
I see wore out.
I see endless nights pacing.
I see frustration because my pain is stronger than I am.
I don't do pain medication.
I take Tylenol and smoke cannabis to manage my pain levels.
I had a seizure the night before. I almost had one at the doctor's office. I was out of my meds and in pain all night.
My muscles still hurt.
When I look in a mirror, I see excess skin from losing weight.
I see every time a man turned away from me when I was naked.
I see the look of disgust a man that I was married to, had every time I took my clothes off. So I stopped changing clothes around him.
I see a man telling me I'm not pretty enough.
That I'd be prettier if I lost weight.
I'd be prettier if I did something with myself.
With my hair.
My nails.
My clothes.
I remember their words.
I remember the way they looked at me.
That's what I see.
I prefer women to men because women have never sexually assaulted me, never beat me for how I look or how I act, women have always loved me enough to protect me.
Men always made me question myself and hurt me because they knew what they needed to do it. I gave them the tools. For 25 years, I gave them the tools to destroy me.
Because of that, I stopped loving myself.
So I stopped looking in the mirror.
Because my monsters are real.
Scary stories aren't just in books.
Sometimes the looking glass cuts deeper than Alice anticipated...
And Jabberwocky's bite back.
And those stories are very real.
Those are the nightmares that keep you awake.

The beauty of the world is around us if you just stop to take a moment and look.
This was at Sebastian Inlet yesterday.
It was a gorgeous day.
I saw dolphins.
I rode a jet ski.
I had a blast with family.
Family is important

I had a rare day off with some me time.
I made homemade gourmet plant based butters for family as gifts.
Mixed berry (fresh blueberries and raspberry preserves) with maple syrup and honey, and salted maple syrup and honey.
Simple and delicious.
(I just noticed it's my signature pink ;) )

For simple 15 to 30 minute ceremonies, base pricing starts at $125.
If you are looking for a custom ceremony, prices start at $250 and vary depending on location and customization. Prices for my services depend on location and how much detail I'm putting into your celebration. If we're doing a 10, 15 minute ceremony, it's a simple ceremony and will only require my time, travel and a ceremony. If you are having a larger, more intimate celebration, and require an entire ceremony from beginning to end, my time, my travel, helping to organize the rehearsal and wedding ceremony, that will require more of my time and skill.
I do a cleansing and a blessing before each ceremony.
I believe in starting each union with a clean heart. We're entering sacred space. In that moment, it's just you two, your life and that moment. I want every couple to have every best possible start to their new lives. That means starting with a clean heart to make room for more love...
