Have you been wondering what’s going on at the old Palmetto Police Station? Crews have begun the demolition of this 1960s-era building, which was damaged by Hurricane Irma and has since been outgrown by our thriving community.
So, what’s next for the old site? The nearly 4-acre lot will soon be available for redevelopment proposals, offering a fantastic opportunity for new ventures to take root in our city.
Meanwhile, just to the south, the Heartland Grove project is making significant progress. This 8-acre site is currently under contract and undergoing soil restoration and remediation. Once approved, Heartland Grove will add 204 new residences to the area, enhancing our community’s vibrancy.
