Tonight’s yearly dinner for my longest group! These ladies were one of my very first jobs and I have to say, I love cooking for them year after year! A Christmas Tree Charcuterie was a fun start to the meal which consisted of Garlic and Herb Crusted Salmon over Rice with Roasted Asparagus. They saved room for Vanilla Pound Cake, which was their dessert. See ya next year!!!

Sometimes the Side Dishes really are the stars of the meal! Guests dined on pulled pork and chicken sliders with Cheddar Jalapeño Cornbread with Butter & Honey, Fruit Salad, Cabbage Slaw, and a Green Salad with Pears, Apples, Walnuts and Blue Cheese (on the side of course)

This is what happens when the Birthday Boy loves Rum…Rum Punch and a Rum Old Fashioned then did tastings of Grilled Pineapple and Marscapone Tartlets with a White Rum followed by Bacon Wrapped Plantains with a Gold Rum. Dinner was Jerk Chicken, Pulled Pork Sandwiches, Coconut Rice and lots of Grilled Veggies. For dessert, we paired another tasting of a Dark Rum with a Pecan Bread Pudding with a Warm Vanilla Rum Sauce. Happy Birthday John! So happy to be a part of your Rum themed birthday party!!!
