📣You have from Tuesday 7/18 - Sunday 7/24 to beat the fastest lap time

📣Can only be redeemed once per racer. If you beat the time you can’t enter again.

📣Must mention to the front counter you are here for BEAT OUR STAFF. They will give you a wristband.

📣Only the races you buy in one transaction that day will count towards BEAT OUR STAFF. Meaning, if you buy 10 races in one transaction you have 100 laps to beat the time. If you only buy 1 race you only have 10 laps to beat the time. After you leave the register for that day that’s it but don’t worry you can come back another day during the time frame stated above and try again!

📣You will be on the track with other drivers that may or may not be in the BEAT OUR STAFF challenge.

📣Remember, this is a friendly, free challenge not a professional league. Those are coming.

Fridays forecast:
Colourful with a touch of sunshine 💛

The hand painting was inspired by a still life created by Thomas Hill. I wanted to create dimension with hand painting and sugar flowers with no particular focal point.

I do not like to use inspiration in a literal sense and was blessed to have clients who gave me creative freedom, something I cherish dearly from almost all my clients.

Great family fun!

🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨 PSA 🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨🚨

Over the past few days we have had to stop multiple races and even forfeit some due to reckless and unsafe driving at all ages. We know the majority of you here are the safest and fastest racers that visit us, but its the classic case of one person ruined it for everyone again 😔

With that, please remember a few things when you visit us:

1) Our number ONE priority is keeping YOU and EVERYONE on the track safe, including our STAFF. This means we will slow you down if people wreck and ask that you are mindful of the staff and do not attempt to run them over as they are pushing the karts around.

2) You have to use your BRAKES when you are approaching and going around turns. These karts are too fast to keep it flat footed the whole way around the track and will lead you to crash into someone else or the walls. Both of which are not tolerated and are considered reckless and unsafe driving and could lead to forfeiture and or permanent ban from the track.

We understand small accidents happen and our excellent staff can spot when you attempted to slow down or stop the kart before lightly bumping into someone or the wall. We will coach you when that happens and ask as your race continues, maybe give yourself a little distance between other racers to avoid contact and or apply a little more brake pressure 😎

3) It is also very important to remember that when you sign the waiver and enter the track, you become fully responsible for any and all damages you cause to the track, karts, and any person. If you are under 18 the person that signed for you is responsible.

We do not like making posts like this, but to ensure that we are providing a safe, fun, and family friendly environment for everyone that visits, it had to be reiterated.

Thank each and every one of you for taking time out of your day to read this, it really means a lot to us.

Another photo of part of Queen Elizabeth’s Platinum Jubilee Cake designed by Relph … commissioned and gifted by …. it was an honour to work with such an amazing team for this very special Royal occasion with Silver tree by and Walnut base ( not pictured here as it was taken directly to the Throne Room at the Palace …. 🌸🌿

Meanwhile, here is some more info from Annie Relph … The jubilee cake was only put together fully by the palace - so we were unable to take our own photographs of it beforehand. However, on the day of delivery we were asked to assemble some of the cake in order to explain the mechanisms of how it fitted together ( each tier was positioned precisely on the one below with locators ). Not the most beautiful of surroundings, but this picture does at least show in more detail the amazing quality of work by the jubilee cake team.
