Seventeen years ago, we said yes to something we couldn’t fully predict, and it’s shaped how we show up for our couples on one of the most important days of their lives.

Seventeen years teaches you a lot more than camera settings. It teaches you how to read a room, when to step in, when to step back, how to move quietly when emotions are heavy, how to keep things light when nerves are high, how to keep things moving, and when a little humor can change the entire energy of the day.

To every couple who trusted us with moments that only happen once, thank you. This business exists because of you.

And to the creative partners who have become some of our dearest friends, planners, venues, florists, and teams who trust us with their clients and invite us into their work, we’re endlessly grateful to grow alongside you.

Flying out to California to celebrate Caitlin, Matt, and their sweet dog Birdie felt like more than just photographing a wedding, it felt like reuniting with family. I met Caitlin eight years ago through her sister Kristen, and we instantly bonded over our shared love for Taylor Swift. From that moment on, her parents have been the kindest supporters of our work, and every time I’m with them, it feels like coming home.

The day itself was perfectly them. Passed tequila shots to kick off the ceremony, and nonstop laughter from start to finish. As soon as I met Matt, I knew he was perfect for her, smart, witty, and endlessly supportive. You know when you meet people and just know they’re your people? That’s Caitlin and Matt. Getting to witness and document this chapter of their story was such an honor.

The details from Katie & Nick’s wedding were truly next level, obsessed is an understatement. Their vision was rooted in femininity and whimsy, with nods to English garden parties and the elegance of Marie Antoinette.

They leaned into a soft pastel palette but layered in bright pops of color to match their playful personalities. As book lovers, they carried that theme throughout the day — from the custom book arch, to an es**rt display featuring curated novels for each guest to take home.

Their favorite flower, the lily, added a romantic French touch, woven throughout the arrangements to honor the fleur-de-lis. And while the overall design had a royal feel, it was filled with playful, unexpected elements, trailing silk bows, Calico Critters tucked into florals, and lamb pots lining the aisle.

Oh, and did I mention the towering trees growing right from the middle of their reception tables? Pure magic.

Emma & Dave did it their way. A surprise wedding, arriving by boat to greet their guests, and saying “I do” at Emma’s grandma’s estate, the very place her parents were married. The day was filled with joy, connection, and the sweetest in-between moments (like Emma sneaking a peek into the kitchen while Dave was getting ready, one of my favorites). Later, everyone danced outside as the rain fell in sheets, and it couldn’t have been more perfect.

I adore when couples strip away the pressure of tradition and create a day that feels entirely their own. And these two? They did it beautifully.

So excited to finally share Katie & Nick’s rehearsal dinner. Two of the most incredible humans! Katie pulled off the most amazing vibe with a vintage style dress, a little Chappell Roan inspo for her makeup, and the most fun spooky trivia theme 👻. We’ve bonded over our mutual love for Taylor Swift and all the Eras Tour excitement, and I cannot wait to share more from their weekend as the week goes on.

Touring venues on the East Coast with & was nothing short of magical. I finally got to see some dream venues that I've had on my bucket list for years and even added a few more. I'm counting down the days until I can return to these incredible venues again soon.

Happy Birthday to Garrett, the most incredible human and the best teammate, both in life and at weddings!

Every single day, he shows up with kindness, humor, and a willingness to help absolutely anyone in need. Whether he’s carrying gear, setting up lights, or making sure couples have everything they need on their wedding day, he does it all with grace and zero complaints. He’s also the funniest person I know, making even the longest wedding days full of laughter.

Beyond that, he’s the greatest girl dad in the history of ever, the biggest board game fanatic (who somehow never wins his own games), and the kind of person who makes life better just by being in it.

And today, in honor of his birthday, I’ll accept that Miss Leah loves him more than she loves me.

Happy Birthday, Garrett! The world—and every wedding you help with—is better because you’re in it.

Nicole and Nick’s story began with a simple act of kindness—Nick offering Nicole his seat at a bar. From that moment on, their connection grew into something genuine and meaningful.

Their wedding day at The Sanctuary was a perfect reflection of their story: warm, inviting, and effortlessly beautiful. The November weather was nothing short of a gift—60° and sunny, making every moment even more unforgettable.

Laura + Matt’s wedding was a day filled with joy and laughter. Laura wore her grandmother’s wedding dress, adding a special touch to the celebration. The dance floor was packed all night, featuring custom temporary tattoos, a surprise flash mob, and a heartfelt surprise dance from Laura’s dad. These two are truly wonderful!
