Participation in shows, intercollegiate competitions, combined tests, horse trials, trek, and drill-rides is also available. howing, boarding, or breeding stables. Incoming freshmen are required to take a riding test and will be placed, according to their experience, into one of the Horsemastership courses. Students must attain a minimum GPA for 2.50 for all courses in the major or minor. In addition, equestrian majors must pass a departmental exit exam in order to graduate.
