With Valentine’s Day next week already 🤩, marketing for anyone that will have flowers is probably at an all time high! 🌹🌸
So why choose your local brick + mortar florist?? 💐
1. It obviously supports your local store financially!
It helps you have a local florist, not just for Valentines Day, but year round!
We’re here for you for the big and small celebrations,
graduations,
weddings,
funerals, and
the just because kind of days. 🌞
2. Outside of just flowers, it helps us keep a talented staff year round + grow our awesome shop inventory (bags, gifts, art, plants, planters, jewelry, self care goods, etc…).
It takes consistent foot traffic + business to grow from a tiny storefront to supporting a much larger lifestyle boutique + plant shop! 🪴 🎁 👜 🌺
3. If you order from a wire service (FTD, Teleflora, Ava’s flowers, 1-800-flowers, etc…) you are just ordering from a third party service that will then send your order to a nearby florist that is enrolled in wire services.
That means that the third party gets a portion of the funds for just taking your order. There are many other issues when it comes to ordering from these companies, but the big takeaway for this post is that this doesn’t help support + grow your local florists.
We are not enrolled in these wire services because it really isn’t good for our industry and it leaves room for a lot of misconceptions on what one is ordering and what one will receive.
So just call the florist directly or go to their direct website! 🌼☎️🌼
4. When you come to your local brick + mortar florist, you can be confident your flowers are being taken care of and prepped so that when they go out from our store they are meant to last for you!
Many stores that bring flowers around as a side option don’t have the proper knowledge for flower care and lack coolers to keep the flowers from aging as quickly. In other words, if those flowers have been sitting out of a cooler for days, that’s less days they will be opening and blooming for you.
5. I can guarantee that this local brick + mortar florist puts sooo much love + prayer into each and every flower arrangement!
