Amy & Miguel’s Gorgeous Christmas Wedding 🌹✨

The two become one at Saint Joan of Arc Catholic Church in Hershey, Pennsylvania & celebrated their nuptials at Harmony Hall Estate!

After the mass, we stopped at the State Capitol for portraits - the same place Amy’s parents took their wedding photos so many years before 🥲

Amy & Miguel met at Franciscan University in their freshman year theology class. From the moment they met each other, the two continued to grow closer to God & each other!

Their wedding day was a beautiful feast, celebrating all of the ways the Lord has provided for them over the past five years 🕊️

Maddie & Denny had the perfect December wedding! The two became one at Saint Agatha & Saint James in Philadelphia - the city where their love story started three years ago!

The church doors opened at the end of the nuptial mass, & we all were surprised to see the first snowfall of the year! ✨️⁠
⁠
The snowfall only added to the beauty of the entire day. Maddie’s wedding design was inspired by Our Lady of Guadalupe 🌹 The vibrant & bright colors were a lovely reminder of Our Lady’s intercession over their relationship 🥲 It was such an honor to be a part of this beautiful wedding day!!⁠

From the wood of the manger to the wood of the cross. The son of a carpenter was born & died on wood - laid in a manger & nailed to the cross.⁠
⁠
Throughout Advent, I have been struck by all of the ways the nativity foreshadowed the Lord's passion. As well as prepared Our Lady to be by Jesus' side for the crucifixion. ⁠
⁠
When Mary laid her son in the wooden manger, her heart was being prepared for His death on the wood of the cross. Her first act as a mother was an act of surrender to the Father's will.⁠
⁠
As I have prayed in front of our Advent wreath, I am reminded of the crown of thorns worn by Our Lord. He accepted His title of King of the Jews, after coming into the world as the Prince of Peace.⁠
⁠
May Our Lady's surrender inspire us & Jesus' kingship reign in our hearts for the final hours of Advent.⁠

A toast to Ben & Sav - two of the easiest people to celebrate! 🥂⁠

It was such a joy to document these sweet moments from Ben & Sav’s rehearsal dinner! Their parents worked incredibly hard to turn this space into a beautiful setting to celebrate. It was the perfect evening filled with toasts, lots of laughing, & delicious food!⁠

The couple was joined by their closest friends & family in Saint Michaels, Maryland for a sacred & gorgeous wedding weekend. Every detail of the weekend was the perfect reflection of Ben & Sav 🥲🫶🏻

Months ago I sat in Saint Ambrose Catholic Church in Annandale, Virginia (my hometown!) & said a little prayer that one day I’d photograph a wedding in this beautifully newly renovated church mainly because of the lovely bright lighting - a Catholic photographer’s dream!⁠ ✨

& just a few weeks later, Annie contacted me about wedding photography!⁠
⁠
The majority of my little prayers are not answered within a few weeks, but as I have edited photos from this stunning wedding day I have reflected on the Lord’s abundant generosity 🤍
⁠
It has been beautiful to see all of the ways the Lord has continued to answer my little prayers for this business (& truly every area of my life), especially as I hope for Him to answer prayers that feel much bigger.⁠

As I reflect on this past fall season, I am in AWE of the beautiful moments I have been invited into & trusted to document - including brides putting on their wedding dress, a dad seeing their daughter as a bride, intimate moments of prayer, having a front row seat (& by seat, I mean standing or kneeling in the aisle 🤭) at mass, & all of the little moments in between!

It is the greatest HONOR to be trusted to document all of the sacred moments of a wedding day 🫶🏻🥲

The little moments between the posed family photos are some of my favorites 🥹🤍

& if I am being totally honest, sometimes they’re necessary to capture that one photo when all of the little ones are smiling at the camera!

I find it helpful to give children a little time to warm up during a family session - instead of just jumping right in to posed photos. During this session, that looked like searching for the tiniest acorn on the ground!

If you’re wondering what Our Lord meant by “salt of the earth” - Annie & John might be the official definition!

Their love for each other is incredibly pure & full of JOY. It was such a gift to see how their love pours into the people who mean so much to them, especially John’s sweet nieces! As seen in the last photo 🥲

Their entire wedding day felt like the perfect reflection of their love story. It was family-oriented, sacred, & so much fun. One of Annie’s biggest concerns was that there was enough time for dancing!

Kim & Jim’s wedding day was complete perfection ✨

The two both ended up in Baltimore ten years ago after saying “yes” to job opportunities. Their relationship started as a friendship - & during that time lots of people thought they were already dating because the two have such a natural connection 🤭 Many years of friendship eventually turned into a first date, proposal, & now marriage!

Throughout the entire day, Kim & Jim both expressed how much peace they felt - no stress, just joy! It was so evident to see how their love for each other has poured out into the lives of their friends & family. 🤍

Beautiful hymns & the smell of incense filled the Baltimore Basilica as the two became one. Even the Saints were a part of the mass, as the altar was adorned with FOUR relics of Doctors of the church 🕊️

Their nuptials were celebrated at a farm outside of the city with folk music, plate full of yummy BBQ, & dancing! 🎻🌽🌾

It was such a JOY to witness this beautiful day! Many congratulations to Mr. & Mrs. Dotterweich 🥂✨

Introducing Mr. & Mrs. Thomas!!

Daniel & Stephanie’s love story is so uniquely beautiful - it could be a movie! The two met on while living in different countries. Stephie is from Spain, while Danny is a Philadelphia native. Their connection was immediate. The couple fondly describes it as “love at first Zoom!”

After two years of engagement & navigating the uncertainties of the immigration process, the couple remained incredibly JOYFUL. Even a little rain on their wedding day could dampen the peace & joy they felt!

Every detail of the wedding was perfect! The two became one at Saint Agatha & Saint James Catholic Church in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. The church was filled with loved ones who traveled from across the world to witness this beautiful Sacrament! Their nuptials were celebrated at the Merion Tribute House.

It was such a gift to witness the beauty of their wedding day, & document this STUNNING love story!

Feeling like the luckiest girl in the whole wide world because I get to document beautiful love stories 🥲☘️

Everything about this nuptial mass was sacred, reverent, & absolutely stunning! Turn on the sound to hear the beauty of the sacred music, which was coordinated & conducted by Daniel’s sister, Sarah. The entire choir was made up of family & friends! This was one of the most gorgeous & reverent masses we have had the privilege of witnessing 🥲🕊️✨ As Stephanie walked down the aisle, the couple was filled with so much JOY & a sense of peace. The moment that they had prayed for so long was finally here!

One of the most beautiful wedding feasts I have attended was witnessing 10 women profess their final vows as Sisters of Life 🌹💍 The Sisters of Life are an order of religious women who vow to protect & enhance the sacredness of every human life. Their work is based in the truth that every life is valuable & sacred. I have had the joy of working closely with the Sisters in their ministry to support women throughout pregnancy & motherhood in Philadelphia. It was so special to be there as our friends professed their final vows to be brides to Christ 🕊️🥲
