When it comes to deciding to hire a wedding planner or day of event coordinator, & then deciding which type of service works best for you, there can be a lot of questions that come to mind. So what's the difference between hiring a wedding planner and hiring a wedding coordinator?
Wedding Planner:
- By your side from start to finish (AKA your new bestie) & integral in the entire planning process.
- Helps with vendor selection by making recommendations based on the needs & budget, comparing prices/services, facilitating meetings, & or conversations.
- You are involved as much or as little as you want to be in the planning process.
- Provides industry insights, knowledge, tips & tricks to ensure the best wedding planning experience.
Wedding Coordinator:
- Assists with all final wedding day details and LOGISTICS.
- Ensures everything runs smoothly & efficiently on the event day.
- You are reaponaible for all the wedding planning leading up to the big day.
- Steps in from the start of the day to provide peace of mind & relieve all last minute stress.
(Is hair & makeup running on time? where is the DJ? My dress ripped who can fix it? Executing wedding party lineup,Set up of gift table, ushering guests to designated areas when they arrive, ect.)
