I swear I was gonna share my marinade but Sam's club was out of stock on chickens 😭
I did switch things up a bit tho and tried ginger ale for my chicken because we didn't have any beer 👍🏻

Drink the can half way down. I squeezed a whole lemon, threw 2 slices of the rinds in the can along with 5 cloves of smashed garlic, cloves, peeled and sliced a small chuck of ginger, thyme and rosemary.
Very happy with how it came out!

Does Dad need some help distracting the kids so he can make dinner while you go out Friday night?

What you will need:
Smurtle the pirate turtle or some other aquatic creature and or pirate, Kinetic sand (or whatever preference),1 brown paper bag, cardboard, string, napkin, chopsticks ,a "shovel" of some kind, scissors & your glue gun!

I ripped the bottom of the bag off right above where it folds. Opened it up, and folded the edges down. Made a fitted bottom out of cardboard and hot glued together. I took 2 separate pieces of cardboard and folded like an L, glued those together to make the small box to hold the sail. Glue to the back of the boat, and once it's dry take your scissors and drill a hole on the top of the box and best you can line it up on the bottom of the boat. Take your chopstick and glue it from the bottom. Poke the napkin through and glue a little at the top to secure it .

For the treasure map I took the other half of the paper bag and crumpled it up, cut it to size or rip it for an even better textured look. Write it out and tie it up with a string! Maggie loves her magnifying glass for some extra fun inspecting her treasures too! ☠️

This girl got busy with this for OVER AN HOUR! So big win tonight for me 💕

Who wants my beer can chicken recipe? 👀
I make this s**t religiously and I also turn it into bone broth! There's minimal prep, but cook times about 2 hours. I do keep a close eye & rotate every 15 minutes for the first hour at 375, then slow cook at 225 for the last hour. I let her rest for another half hour before removing her from the oven too, like any good thing you need to put the time in; and don't forget to baste her 😏

Pro tip if you put Rainbow Jimmies in your pancakes they turn into unicorn cakes 🦄
I also add milled flax seed for some extra nutrients, but it will thicken your batter so beware as your cooking the next batch might need another splash of water. Maggie loves them and Momma's happiest when she's eating!

Mix baking soda and water slowly to create a moldable consistency, and boom! Taste safe snow!

If you're looking for your next favorite Christmas Keepsake look no further! 🥳
This year we just added some mistletoes, but we did the entire family last year ❤️
If you look closer you can see Scooby paw print is the stump, we did his last to overlap our own hand prints. Daddy's was the base of the tree, then me, & Maggie's on top.(I separated our handprints with different color greens too)
I painted a little star, & you can go back over the paint with modge podge if you have it to make sure it doesn't wear through the years. I used acrylic paint which in my opinion is best for any project you want to last too.
For the mistletoes I did 2 different color greens again and the red is her fingerprints 😍
(I used an oil-based sharpie to write the year also)

So my love of pie went on to die during these hard times in our economy. Unfortunately we're all broke, and when it comes down to paying for supplies and the time I put into my pies it didn't even out. & That's perfectly okay, sure it was upsetting, and it's still something I'd like to do in the future hopefully but now was just not the right time. & That's perfectly okay! Failure can open your eyes if you're able to learn from it, and God only knows why it took me this long to realize what my true calling in life is and that's my love of acrylic paintings!
This whole summer I've got my ass in gear and have been touching up old paintings/ working on new ones. I don't have a huge inventory yet but I'm making the most of what I do have and I'm very excited to share that with you all very soon.
