Growth, community, and sustainable impact. These are the three pillars which make up the philosophy behind Trellis For Tomorrow , a non-profit organization committed to "cultivating a sustainable future – a future where every individual, every community, and every corner of the world can thrive; sowing seeds of hope, tending to the garden of change, and envisioning a tomorrow that is brighter and more resilient than today."

As part of our 12th Street for Good initiative, we're proud to partner with Trellis For Tomorrow, & wanted to share some of the progress being made at our 12th Street garden with lots of help from our friends. Planting began in August & we are already preparing for fall harvest -- stay tuned for volunteer opportunities & more come spring!

NEW Venue Spotlight!

The Dietrich Gallery is booking fast! This newly renovated, iconic location is perfect for your winter holiday event.

Originally designed in 1910 as the Academy’s library reading room, the gallery has welcomed some of the world’s most notable thinkers and academics, including Jane Goodall, Dian Fossey, and Sir David Attenborough. Today, it retains that legacy of inspiration. The modernized hall boasts original hardwood floors, 22-foot coffered ceilings, and built-in antique bookcases with modern lighting and acoustics seamlessly integrated to support contemporary events.

The Dietrich can easily accommodate up to 200 guests for everything from seated holiday dinners to cocktail-style receptions and soirées.

When a school graduates from being just a place of education to becoming a valued community hub, it can feel like a second home, & reshape a neighborhood. 🏠

For Allegheny West, that place is St. James School.

As part of our 12th Street for Good initiative, we’re proud to support this North Philadelphia institution, which offers tuition-free, faith-based education to students in grades 4-8 and provides wraparound support through daily meals, on-site health services, graduate mentorship, and community food access programs.

St. James extends its care far beyond the classroom through initiatives like summer camp programs, a community fridge, and a weekly farmers market where neighbors can take what they need—no checkout, no cost.
