I’ve gotten a lot of questions about my officiating business since I haven’t posted.

Rest assure- I am still officiating. I am still accepting bookings and have a pretty packed schedule for 2023! I am working in order to get ceremonies out to couples.

Just a friendly reminder: your date is NOT held in my calendar until a deposit is received. I do send one reminder email but after not hearing back, am the date will remain open.

I will be sending reminder emails by Monday and the dates will reopen as of Tuesday.

I never mix my real life with my business but this one is important!

If you only know me through my business, you may not know I am a mom of 2. Anna Banana and Zach “Crusher”. My son, Zach, is diagnosed with epilepsy. On Saturday we will walk to raise money and awareness. I am just asking people to share to raise awareness! We reached our team goal and now it’s just about spreading the message!

Hello all!
As a small business owner, my dates are at a first come first serve basis. While usually, a deposit holds your date, I was allowing dates to be held due to the pandemic. This has caused me to turn other couples away with original date holders not responding.

If you no longer need my services, I just ask that you text or email me to release the date. I won’t be upset, you won’t hurt my feelings but it is a curtesy I ask you give me so I can continue to smoothly run my business.

GOING forward- absolutely no dates will be held until a deposit is received. This protects both of us.

Thank you all for being amazing and supporting my small business. I love every relationship I’ve made in the years of being an officiant. I’ve been able to keep up with some couples, see them purchase their first homes, welcome children into the world and I wouldn’t change a thing about this journey!!! I’ve always been up front and honest with any changes I make to my business. While I never want to raise prices, 100% of my business requires travel. I’ve eaten the cost of doing weddings hours away to make sure my clients/couples get their perfect, dream wedding. I’ve stayed at hotels on my own dime to make sure nothing stopped me from being there on time with the risk of an accident on the turnpike etc.

Unfortunelty, with gas prices rising, the cost for a basic wedding will stay the same but any wedding that will require traveling a bit of distance will see a “travel” fee added.

I still will continue to offer my services at a fraction of what I’ve quoted other officiant services are charging because couples already pay enough for weddings.

I hope future couples understand. If we are already booked, this will not effect you as I would never go back on my word or our agreement.

I get asked often how far in advance should someone book a wedding. The sooner you know the date, the better BUT I do my best to accommodate everyone! I’ve done next day weddings just to give an example.

I often get asked how people know if I am booked up. I actively book all year! If you know your date, it’s never too early to book! I do tend to fill up quick during May, June, October, November and December.

A total Liz moment.

My son was downloading a game and used my gmail account. Because he tried to put in his birthday, it flagged my account and blocked me from logging into google. I had to provide them with my ID and they said they’ll review it within 48 hours.

So… over the next 48 hours if you are trying to book a wedding, please message me as I do not have access to my google account to retrieve my emails or my forms.

Merry Christmas & congratulations to all the newly engaged couples! What an exciting time this is in your lives!

With the new year approaching and the insanity of 2020 and 2021- I want to sincerely thank everyone for sharing my information with friends, family and heck- even strangers! I absolutely adore that I get to do what I love almost every weekend of the year!
