Hello Flowers!

It’s been awhile since I’ve had time to share all of the new growth in my garden, but I am really excited to share with you my newest additions to the garden, introducing Eli Bronstein and E King 👑

Both Eli and E are art installation artist. When they are not installing art Eli is also a fire performer, sound engineer for live music, and photographer. “ I love creating art that is interactive, participatory, and thought provoking. Most of all, I love making experiences for people that are bizarre and fun.” Eli Bronstein

When E isn’t doing installations she is a graphic designer, painter, and public health educator. “I love creating art that engages and supports my communities to learn, share, and grow together with a funky little twist.” E. King

I am super excited to not only add them to the garden but also they will be sharing two of their art installations with us at this year’s Jam on the Grass Festival

The installations are entitled The Visitor and The Big Weird Flower Thing. Both of these installations are interactive! Tickets are on sale now at Jamonthegrass.com

Remember, I see you and I want you to Bloom 🌸🌺🌸

Good Morning Flowers 🌻

Today is special day because we are celebrating freedom. I began being The Wallflower Observer 10 years ago. It was always my dream to become a business owner, but to be able to say today that I am a black owned business means so much! Without today I literally could not be here.

So in honor of today I am asking you to support me and my business by putting this Saturdays show with Three Fourteen and Koser at City Winery Philadelphia on your calendar. Any support for our team goes a long way. In return I will be raffling off 2 tickets to this year’s 11th Annual Jam on the Grass for anyone who purchases a ticket today. Comment below to let me know. Winner will be chosen this Friday.

Help me continue to grow and I thank each and every one of you for the love. Happy Juneteenth 🔔✊🏾

Hello my flowers,

In continuation with the upcoming Harmonic Hope and Healing festival I would love to introduce you to another part of our team, welcome Joe Kenney to the commUNITY garden 🌹

Not only is Joe a crucial part of our festival but he is also a pianist, recording artist, music instructor, and artist manager.

Joe is a 2013 graduate of West Chester University (BM Piano Performance), and is passionate about creating music, writing with his first book in the works, and advocating for people — especially in the mental health sphere. “I’m a huge Philadelphia sports fan and a proud Dad to an amazing daughter.”

Joe reached out to me about harmonic, hope and healing and I was immediately in. I love the idea of bringing music and wellness together. Music heals and we are here to show you the depth of what that truly means. Also I have had the pleasure of seeing Joe play and it is an incredible thing to witness. He will be performing with his band at the festival.

Tickets for are on sale now. Visit harmonichopehealing.com for more details.

Todays Wallflower Wednesday is here to introduce you! Welcome to the commUNITY garden Katie Butler 🌴

Her interest in music therapy and music healing initiatives began when she was a senior in high school, and has since worked with several non-profit and community service organizations including Music Mends Minds, Jazz Hands for Autism, and YOUTHphonics. “My mission with these organizations has been to make music readily accessible at the community level, fostering social support, professional opportunities and health and wellness for all individuals.”

Over the last few years I have learned so much about the capacity I have to love, the expansiveness that love has to offer, and that true love really does start with yourself.

I am so grateful to have a platform to share the things that I love about this commUNITY with you. So with that if no one else tell you today, just know that I, The Wallflower Observer, love you.

I see you and I think you should bloom 💜🫶🏾

Hello friends and Happy Wallflower Wednesday 🌷

Today I am so exited to introduce you to a couple of flowers who are very close to my heart. Welcome to the garden Señor Slices 🌮

Husband and wife Anna Kerezsi & Alejandro Gonzalez Duarte are a staple of the Philadelphia food community. Specializing in Mexican cuisine this couple curates pop ups and catering through out the city. When they aren’t feeding the community you can find them at Eagles games tailgating and cooking for all their fans.

I am lucky to call these beautiful flowers my friends. The impact they make on the community everyday is something we can all learn from. You can follow them to find out about when you can find their next pop up. I highly recommend making it to one, especially if their iconic flan is on the menu 💜

You can also catch them serving snacks at next Tuesday’s comedy showcase hosted by at

Good Morning Flowers 🌤️ This week I joined the 2024 Women In Music virtual summit and it has been nothing but great! Getting to connect with women from all different areas of the music industry has been both validating and an incredible learning experience.

On Wednesday Brookly Bowl Philadelphia hosted a meet up where I was able to connect in person with so many like minded women in my area.

I am so grateful for this community. Today is the last day of the summit and I cannot wait to gain more knowledge and growth.

Thank you to all the women paving the way and thank Women In Music for gathering and celebrating us all 🫶🏾💜

You know how the more light a plant gets the more likely it is to grow steadily for years. Well that’s how I’m feeling for 2024. I have been getting so much light from others and it has me feeling like I’m ready to be repotted. Came here to say that if you have shined any light on my today or any other day I appreciate you and I see you and think you should bloom 🌻

Kicking 2024 off with some laughs 🤭

Next Tuesday I, alongside the wonderfully talented Sue Funke, are bringing you a night full of funny.

Something you may not know about me is that I absolutely looooove standup comedy! Probably just as much as I love music and I am so excited to finally be adding some giggles to the garden 🍄

The event is also being hosted at The Mt Airy Arts Garage. The Mt. Airy Arts Garage offers affordable space to artists, makers, crafters, designers, photographers, and creatives! This is an amazing community space and it’s the perfect space for a Wallflower event.

This event is BYOB and will feature a very special food vendor as well. Show starts at 7pm and tickets are available now!

See you there and Happy Friday Flowers 🌞

This has been a long time coming, but people let me tell you about this weeks Wallflower! I can’t tell you how much this person means to me, she is not only one of my favorite and closest support systems but she is a skilled and talented business woman herself.

Ladies, Gentlemen and everything in between Id like to introduce you to Belquis Greene aka Bee 🐝

Bee is not only a great friend of mine but she is an extremely talented hairstylist. Bee is also an amazing single mother of 3. When she is not working on her business and with her kids she is a Premium Seating Services host for Live Nation.

She started doing hair at the age of 15 with braiding hair which soon turned into a now profitable hair business. When Brielle, her daughter, was born with eczema in her scalp it led her to come up with hairline products of her own. Thus Loc’d An Loaded was created. The LAL hairline products restore the balance in your pores and moisturizes your hair.

I met Bee through my time at Live Nation and not only is she the ONLY person who I will let touch my hair, but she is an inspiration in so many ways and her dreams are finely starting to bloom. She officially will be opening her own shop, Jan 20th!

These moments are what I live for! To watch someone’s hard work pay off is truly grand. She is currently offering a deal for those who help contribute to the things she needs for opening day! You can head to her page for more information. Or if you are just looking to help out a black own business feel free to give the registry a look.

As someone who has always been a part of my garden I am pleased to add her to the commUNITY garden as well.

Yay Bee and a Happy Wallflower Wednesday to everyone of you 💜 🌻
