hiii i’m riss 👋🏼 i’ve loved photography ever since I was a little girl. i took all my friends senior photos and then started to dive into couples photos. i photographed my very first wedding in 2016 and ever since then that’s been my passion. the fact that i get to be with people on their favorite day with their closest people, will never get old. my hope is for you to see your truest most beautiful self when i photograph you. that you see yourself in a way you never have before and that it’s purely, uniquely you and your person. 💌

2 0 2 3 - this year we were able to capture love in four different countries. a goal we’ve had for so many years came to fruition. we met some of the best people on this planet and created relationships that we will have for the rest of our lives.
but while we were showing up for others and taking part in their best days, we we’re experiencing some of our worst. this year we grieved more loss than we ever have. the loss of dreams and loved ones. but through it all we clung to each other and the support system we have and they held us up through it.
it’s taught us even more so how important this job is. that the images and videos we take could be the last someone has of their loved ones. that time with family and friends is truly more priceless than anything. and the privilege it is to experience that love and joy.
as we walk into our next year of business we feel so immensely grateful for our couples who have given us their love and patience this year, we’ve truly felt kindness and understanding like never before. thank you all so much for supporting our art this year, we are the luckiest people on earth to get to do this with you 🥹❤️🔥

it’s actually been suuuch a good monday?! haha 😂 we went to the gym this morning, took obi on a puppy date to the park lol. and we’ve been working & watching mulan on disney+! how has everyone’s monday been??

we drove to the dunes the night before and car camped so we could get up early for sunrise. essence and william showed up, dressed to the nines, and we ventured out into the dunes. they brought along their beautiful vows to recite to one another and we had a morning of pure love, joy and happiness that only happens when you find your one. 💫
when amanda reached out to us for their wedding I KNEW that they were gonna be two of the sweetest people we've met. their wedding had been postponed because of you know what (lol), and a lot of their plans had changed but she said nothing would stop them from getting MARRIED!
they had a tiny wedding in the most beautiful place in sedona with 15 of their closest friends and family. in her original email to me she mentioned that Jesus has been the kindest and sweetest to them in this process and that definitely emulated through her and eric. despite everything they were just soo happy to be getting married! not to mention they had the most genuine and kind family, we literally felt like we had known all of them for years. thank you, a + e for letting us tell your love story.
