Laura teaches social dances, including Country Western Two-Step, Country Swing, Country Waltz, Nightclub Two-Step, Hustle, Cha Cha, Rumba, and Argentine Tango, which is her favorite dance! She offers private lessons and group classes, adjusting to each person’s skill level and physical ability while focusing on technique. Laura also works with individuals who have physical restrictions or limitations, such as visual impairment. Laura has a background in yoga instruction and equine-assisted activities as well.
Laura is an independent dance instructor, and she gives lessons at Fatcat Ballroom.

Marie and Chad Burson have been teaching and dancing together for almost 30 years. They teach social and competition dance and specialize in Ballroom dance, including Latin and Swing.

Their timeless and beautiful dance style makes them the perfect choice for those looking for traditional wedding dance lessons. Let Chad and Marie teach you the dance skills you need to be more comfortable, confident, and poised on the dance floor.

They also participate in student/instructor dance competitions that are open to all ages and skill levels, and Chad continues to coach his students to success in regional scholarship competitions.

Chad and Marie also teach small group classes for 4 to 10 people, and it's a fun way to learn to dance and spend time with friends!

Marie and Chad are both USISTD-certified dance instructors. They met in college, where Chad studied music and dance and earned three Associate Degrees in dance. Marie has trained in figure skating, gymnastics, and dance, and she taught dance at the studio near her university while attending.

Chad and Marie teach all ages and skill levels, so beginners and very advanced-level students are welcome, and no partner is needed.
