Dandelions Waving!

Winter morning after a snow.

This is Babaduck. He is a Muscovy duck. He shows up from time to time for a visit. He came back recently and is now living with our resident Canadian Goose family on the pond. When we walk out on the dock, he flies over to greet us. 😁

Pig Races

After this past weekend, I just don't see how a wedding can feel complete without pig races. Thanks to Stephanie and Dennis for sharing your special day (and the pigs) with us!

What ranch people do for fun...

Turning 10 acres of impossibly thick and nasty brush into grassy meadow. That's Alex whipping the dozer around like a sports car!

Opening up new trails

Been busy this spring cleaning up the woods in the lower canyon. In case you haven't seen a mastocator in action, its pretty impressive. Turns everything into mulch in seconds. Occasionally pitches 100 mph branches the size of your arm through the woods at head level, so best to keep a safe distance!

Tumbling Water

Three minutes of relaxation if you have time. Videos taken of six of our creeks after the recent rains. Make sure you turn on the volume. If there is enough interest, I may offer to lead a waterfall hike.

Bobcat

I was hiking on the East Knolls this afternoon and came across this little guy. He wasn't at all timid. Watched me for about 10 minutes before moving on. Beautiful bobcat!
