I am overjoyed to share a special moment in our lives through my lens—a moment that speaks of hope, resilience, and immeasurable love. I had the honor of photographing a beautiful family who welcomed their precious rainbow baby into the world.

A "rainbow baby" is a child born after a miscarriage, stillbirth, or infant loss. Just like a rainbow appears after a storm, these little miracles bring light and color to the darkest of times. Their arrival is a testament to the strength and unwavering hope of their parents.

As a photographer, capturing the tender, joyful moments of this family has been an incredibly moving experience. Each smile, each hug, each gentle touch speaks volumes about the journey they've been through and the happiness they've found.

Here are a few glimpses from our session, filled with laughter, tears of joy, and the boundless love that only a rainbow baby can bring.

How it all began

I am very passionate about taking portraits and enjoy doing weddings. My focus is to be as flexible as possible and work with you!

I have been lucky enough to work at the University of Minnesota Duluth as a photographer for public relations. I have also photographed the Metal of Honor convention in Minneapolis in 2016.

I was first interested in photography when I found my grandpas vintage camera (and now currently collect vintage cameras). I enjoyed pretending to take pictures of things. When my dad bought a real working camera, he let me take it out and I was able to take pictures of the things around the farm. Photography is so enjoyable for me because after shooting a session, I enjoy looking at all the great shots. Viewing the photos is like opening a gift, and I get to see the beauty with every picture.
