The Kerr County Sheriff's Office and the Kerr County Emergency Manager have co-sponsored the second annual Kerr County Emergency Preparedness Exposition.

The event is free. Saturday, August 31. Doors open at 9:00 am.

Emergency Preparedness is important on so many levels. Please visit the Expo for lots of free information and advice. There will be plenty of items on sale also.

Over 60 vendors will be on hand to answer questions about freeze-dried food, water purification, solar energy, generators, radios, disaster response, rainwater catchment, home security, nutrition, survival gear, financial preparedness, and much more. The South Texas Blood and Tissue Center will have a Bloodmobile on site. There will be food vendors and several scheduled lectures on a variety of topics.

Feel free to forward this to friends and family. After all, they are an important part of your support group, before, during and after an emergency or disaster.

Attention vendors and small business owners. We are looking for you!
Join us for Ren Faire of Bandera County May 3rd, 2025 from 10am - 6pm.
Prices start at $50 for a 12'x12'. *This is an outdoor event - no electricity available*

We also have a vendor incentive program:
*Pay for your space then,
*Refer 1-4 vendors - 25% returned to you after they pay for their space(s)
*Refer 5-10 vendors - 50% returned to you after they pay for their space(s)
*Refer 10 or more - your vending fee is waived at our NEXT event with us, after they pay for their space(s).
Referred vendors get 25% off their vending fee. They DO need to list you as the referring vendor to get credit.

The hunt is on! We are actively seeking volunteers and presenters for the upcoming Fall Homesteaders and Preppers Bazaar on September 21st, 2024 in Pipe Creek, Texas.

We also offer a unique event for your non-profit to FUNdraise at! Increase community awareness of what your organization is about while raising valuable funds. What has worked well in the past? Activities and games for the whole family. We have even seen several raffles outside of our own be well received.

Still looking for vendors!!

Hello all! This is an outdoor event and as such, we are holding evening hours during the heat of summer.

Space: 12x12
Cost: $25 per spot
Location: Corner of Yucca and Lone Oak Streets, San Antonio, Texas 78220 *this is property owned by Emmanuel Baptist Church who is graciously allowing us to use it*

There will not be any electricity available. All food vendors need to be self contained with generators.

We want to elevate Ren Faire of Bandera County to the next level. To do this we need sponsors, volunteers, and committed vendors!

Sponsors donations help offset the cost of running an event that we intend to keep FREE to the community and low cost to vendors. They ensure that our volunteers are well cared for and will help pay for entertainment! For more information: https://forms.gle/Yh2qLpz1c2RsygbB9

Volunteers are the backbone of any non-profit and fundraising events! Pre-event we need volunteers to help fundraise and prep the event venue. During the event, runners and guest services attendants. Vendors help set the tone for the entire event and provide ample opportunities for guests to find that new treasure to go home with. As this is year SEVEN for us, we are requiring vendors to dress the part in anything that is 19th century and older. We need your help! We would like to make our 2025 Ren Faire of Bandera County a TWO DAY event on May 3rd and May 4th (yes, a Star Wars crossover on day two).

We are seeking sponsors (yes, you do have the option of a booth space to promote your organization/business) and volunteers. Guilds of Requiem, Inc. and Requiem's Events of Texas is thrilled to announce the formation of a new intentional network aimed at the small-scale renaissance fairs in Texas. The goal is to provide support for each other through sharing of resources and coordinating experiences, along with cross promotion on social media.

There are no membership fees associated with this Guilded Project and it is open to all faires that are just starting out or need a little boost of assistance, in the State of Texas (at this time). We are focusing on the faires that are two weekends a year, with anticipated attendance under 5,000 and 20 - 50 vendors. Themed Marketplaces are also welcome.

Did you know that our Homesteaders and Preppers Guild is a collaboration between our Agrarian and Scholars Guilds? The logic behind this is that the Homesteaders and Preppers Guild is primarily a teaching program. Since it includes a large amount of homesteading, gardening, and food preservation/storage advice, we placed it under the Agrarian Guild of Requiem.
