Jennie's Cakes A page created to display my edible works of art. At least until I officially open a shop and a formal web site is started.

I have been baking and decorating cakes since I took a Wilton class in 2001, thanks to a Valentine's Day gift from my husband. Since then, I have created cakes primarily for friends and family. I quit my job as a legal secretary in November 2010 to be a stay-at-home-mom. But it has also provided me the opportunity to hone my skills and have been fortunate enough to work with friends and family who

have allowed me to broaden my skills including work with gum paste and fondant. I love getting to hear what each person wants for their special event, planning it out, working hard to make it perfect and seeing the final product come together! My hope is to open a small shop that caters to custom party cakes and weddings. This page is just a small step to making my shop come true!
