Wedding Season & Craft Show season have swallowed Kati up this year and unfortunately we could not give The Twerking Thimble the time it deserved and have made the hard decision to permanently close. Please follow our other two businesses and to continue to support Kati in all her things!

hi friends! I know you have noticed we have been quiet the past month ish and our owner Kati has been swallowed up by wedding season! The decision has been made to pause ALL classes and events for the month of June. The Dormont Stitch n Bitch will still continue to be here on the scheduled dates July on and the space is available to be rented for events! Kati just wants to focus on quality alterations for her clients as well as her heart project of a few craft shows for ... we appreciate everyone's support and cannot wait for you to see the ideas we do promise are brewing during this down time!!!

FUN FACT! we're going to be featuring different crafts each friday and ways that they help brighten up life. Today's feature is painting! There's multiple kinds of paints and canvases to choose from and many of us remember this as one of the first ways we were introduced to art. Whether it was finger painting in our daycares or using our peanut butter and jelly to decorate the table! Sometimes I wonder if adults still paint with food today? What's your favorite style of paint products to play with?

Hi friends! my name's Kati and i'm the dancing queen behind this whole she-bang. While working main bread & buttah (Topaz Thimble), my clients would always say that they felt so relaxed in my space. It inspired me to create a safe space for the community to come and be BAD at crafts. To not be afraid to start. To try. To get out of their dang comfort zones without the fear of being judged. While you wait for your turn for flash tattoos or permanent jewelry there will be craft stations for $5 each for you to truly "try it before your ADHD buys it!" So far we've got tiny painting canvases with watercolor and acrylic paints, knit and crochet, and macrame keychains! Is there any craft you wanted to try? Let us know and maybe you'll see that station there too!
