Don’t want to cut cake at your wedding? Then DON’T! Maybe cut pizza instead 🍕 (or nothing at all if you don’t want to — it’s YOUR day!)

I’m here to continually remind you that this is your wedding to celebrate your love however you want to! Having a cake or cutting a cake is definitely not a requirement to do that. I have talked with countless couples who don’t like cake, “aren’t cake people,” think serving cake is wasteful, or just simply don’t want the hassle of it all. I have also had couples who have cake at the wedding, but don’t cut it at all or cut it but don’t want to highlight the moment and opt for a private cake cutting. When it comes to planning your wedding details & desserts, the options are endless! You can replace a large wedding cake with a cookie table, cupcakes, an interactive dessert station, or even a blizzard bar!

Haley & Austin’s pizza cutting moment was just the sweetest because they love pizza, not cake! I absolutely love creative ways to show who you are & things you love at your wedding 🤍

A classy, black & white wedding filled with candles, white roses, and baby’s breath ~ I am loving all of these sweet details from this stunning day

During my consult calls when I ask my potential clients “what is your color palette?” I often hear 1 of 2 trends: either “simple, elegant, black & white” or “colorful pastels / pops of bright colors.” I love both of these trends & they give weddings totally different vibes. It was the most gorgeous day to celebrate this beautiful couple at the Farmhouse in Sarver. The love between these two just radiated from them all day long. Their wedding was a genuinely fun celebration of them & their commitment to one another. This venue has a sweet backyard / at home feel, which made the day so special and intimate. From bar signs to large seating charts, table numbers, and place cards too, Bre has got your back! She offers a variety of services from her mirror & sign rentals to a la carte hand-lettering. She is so meticulous and there is no doubt that your signs will look perfect (seriously — you should see her show up with her bottle of Windex and touch up supplies. Not a fingerprint or a smudge to be found)!

She was an amazing vendor for this style shoot with her beautiful signage, gold lanterns, and unique place cards. I highly recommend her for your big day!

One year ago today I decided to launch my business on Instagram. I created a logo, made a highlight with some packages, and decided to see where this journey would take me.

Today, one year later, was my last day at my 9-5 job. CHEERS TO THAT! 🍾

Tonight I’m celebrating quitting my job and following my dreams. Celebrating the 14 weddings I have booked in the last year. Celebrating the time I will have now to dedicate to my couples, my kids, and my husband. Celebrating flexibility and making my own schedule. Celebrating the opportunity to continue growing, learning, and diving deeper into my business to be the best possible planner for my couples.

Thank you to everyone who has believed in me, supported me, mentored me, and especially all the couples who have trusted me. I cannot wait to celebrate with you! 🥂
