Pittsburgh is hosting a party and over 200,000 people are expected to attend.

Light Up Night is set for Nov. 23rd. Musical headliners will be announced soon, but expect several free performances along with the tree lighting and fireworks.

In advance of Light Up Night, opening day at the UPMC Rink at PPG Place is set for Friday, Nov. 15. The Christmas tree at the ice rink is already in place.

The Peoples Gas Holiday Market will also make its return to Market Square, opening Nov. 22 and continuing through Dec. 24.

For the fourth straight year, Light Up Night will be on a Saturday. Make plans to attend and follow us for updates!

Happy to announce the first holiday events of the season. Join us for a night of family fun Friday Nov. 22nd in Cranberry Twp. Then Saturday it's light up night in downtown Pittsburgh. Sunday we kick off the shopping season at Cranberry Mall.

This Saturday 10/12 our event team heads to Prospect, KY for a fun-filled day for the whole family at the Touch A Truck event on Saturday, Oct. 12 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Prospect Kroger parking lot, located at 5929 Timber Ridge Drive.

Kids of all ages can explore and interact up close and personal with various specialty vehicles, including fire trucks, ambulances, police cruisers, garbage trucks, semi-trucks, a mobile library van and more. The first hour of the event will be Sensory Friendly, with no lights, horns or sirens, making it comfortable for any with sensory issues.

This free event is hosted by Gold Sponsor, Bill Collins of Louisville, the City of Prospect, Kroger and Prospect Area Chamber Foundation.
