Today we celebrate the smooth, versatile spirit that’s as rich in history as it is in flavor. Canadian whisky is known for its lighter, often sweeter style compared to other whiskies, making it incredibly easy to sip neat, on the rocks, or in a cocktail.

Happy National Tempranillo Day! 🍷

We love Tempranillo—but what exactly is it?

Tempranillo is a classic red grape native to the Iberian Peninsula, home to Spain and Portugal. Younger styles show bright red fruit notes like cherry and plum, while aged versions develop layers of to***co, leather, spice, and vanilla. Typically medium to full-bodied, these wines feature balanced tannins and moderate acidity.

Our current favorite? San Gregorio Las 75 Vendimias Garnacha Tempranillo — a 91-point James Suckling pick that’s rich with dark cherries, roasted spice, and creamy tannins. Even better, it’s on Limited-Time Special right now at an amazing price!
