Several have asked.. YES! food will be available while bar is open. It will be a limited menu announced weekly until the Restaurant is completed. Yes you MUST be a member to enter the lounge side and you must be a member to be served alcohol. The window is still open for the 2 year deal. Go to www.redmonkeybar.com and complete you sign up You will not be billed until we are open unless you just want to pay ahead.

The Rendezvous Event Center is thrilled to introduce Battle of the Bands finalist: FATE! Fate will be playing on October 15th from 5PM to 6PM.

Fate originated in 1999 with four band members: Mike Snow (lead guitarist / vocals), Bruce Womble (bass guitar / vocals), John Brown (drums / vocals), and Bobby Cox (rhythm guitar / vocals). After a year, the band went its separate ways. Thankfully in June 2022 they got back together with three of the original band members: Mike, Bruce, and John. Fate plays southern rock, blues, and original songs. They are honored to have the 17TH SONG IN THE WORLD with an original through Indie Network Radio. They're currently recording a new CD of original songs with release date to be announced.

The Rendezvous Event Center is excited to introduce Battle of the Bands finalist: ICKARUS GIN! Ickarus Gin will be playing on October 15th from 7:30PM to 8:30PM. Doors open at 4PM.

Created in 2017, Ickarus Gin band members include: Dave Wessell (Lead Vocals), Aaron Wicker (Lead Guitar), Billy Richardson (Percussion), Shane Ballard (Bass), and featuring Ty Stevens & Jerod Duncan (founding members from Pocahontas). Ickarus Gin is a FUNK / ROCK band that brings the sounds of numerous genres of music, multiple levels of pure entertainment, and straight unmatched musical talent to any stage gigantic or small. From Little Rock to Mountain Home to Jonesboro to right in Pocahontas, there is never a stage they haven't liked nor a crowd that didn't go home happy. With a self-titled album looming for the fans, ICKARUS GIN can only get bigger and brighter as the future progresses.

The Rendezvous Event Center is elated to introduce Battle of the Bands finalist: UPCOUNTRY HORSES! Upcountry Horses (formally Gran Met) will be playing on October 15th from 6:15PM to 7:15PM. Doors open at 4PM.

Upcountry Horses is an R&B / Funk infused trio from Jonesboro, AR. Formed by Jaxyn Slade (bass / vocals), Dillanger Carr (drums), and Jordan Fleming (guitar / vocals). You can find their love of music deep in their roots. Jaxyn grew up around southern rock and blues courtesy of his father, an accomplished musician in his own right. Dillanger discovered his love of jazz and rock via the high school band, and he continues to flourish through live performances. Jordan grew up in a musical family and takes inspiration from blues and gospel alike. They found a connection through a mutual love of funk and take inspiration from classic groups such as The Meters, James Brown, and Sly & The Family Stone. Although they may be funky, they also still keep within their roots being influenced by the Allman Brothers, The Band, Cream, and The Grateful Dead. While they are the youngest band in the finale, they have been groomed for performing their craft and are eager to make an impression!
