The steps are:
Purchase freshly cut ✔️
Preserve while they’re still thriving ✔️
Hang dry in a cool, dark environment ✔️
With our method of preserving eucalyptus, these should last up to a year, without becoming brittle, and keeping their same fresh vibrancy they’ve had since they were alive!
It’s important to preserve properly before drying. Notice how most of the leaves still have their elasticity. If not preserved, you can see how leaves will become dry, and brittle, and won’t last. The brittle ones, (usually closer to the stem) become brittle as those are usually submerged in water. Therefore, it is natural to have some leaves that aren’t perfectly preserved.
Once they are separated from one another, the brittle leaves are removed from the stem, and there you have it…
Your perfectly preserved eucalyptus!
We now have these available to embellish any design of your choosing with!

Okay y’all, let’s talk about the big, fake, elephant in the room ~ faux florals.
Who else shudders at the thought of faux florals?
For as long as I can remember, these were an absolute no-no for me.
But let’s face it, we’re no longer in the horrid silk flower phase of the 80’s and 90’s anymore. It’s 2023, and let’s just say; faux florals have definitely ~ evolved ~
Quite gracefully actually.
While shopping around for a florist for my own wedding, I quickly realized that there are two roads you can take. Pay a fortune for decor arrangements made of real florals, OR go with the new trend, and rent faux.
I’ll be honest, I opted for real!
Until I attended a wedding that was entirely furnished with faux, did I realize the effect was exactly the same. The made the same impact. And let me tell you, You could not tell the difference!
Just as we have previously disclosed. MOST of the florals in our arrangements are completely real, dried, and preserved flowers, pampas, and greenery.
But my gosh, does that faux pink, yellow, orange, or even black - make a serious statement!
Not only do the pops of color give that wow effect, but incorporating faux makes it SO much easier to stick to your color scheme while not compromising on your aesthetic.
To me, it’s a win win.
While still having 90% of your floral arrangement true florals, this allows us to customize completely.
So that your arrangement will always feel uniquely different from the last.
It makes it feel like 𝒚𝒐𝒖𝒓𝒔!
We understand that there are some *let’s say* (very bad) imitation flowers. Which is why we will always make sure the ones we use are quality, and as real as it can get. We support trying to break the stigma that the 80’s and 90’s left in our minds about faux florals.
So it’s time to hear what you think. There are no wrong answers here!
Are you staunchly “real or nothing”? Or are you willing to give t
