I would like to thank all of you that came out on Sunday 7/28/2024 to purchase plates, shared our post, stood in the long lines and waited with patience. We appreciate you so very, very much! It is truly a blessing to give back. The Filling Station has helped us all in this community one time or another. Sometimes it is most definitely better to give than receive. Julian Smith and I, (Carleen Smith) and the staff of Murphytown Seafood & BBQ appreciates The Town Of Pollocksville and others communities that have been so receptive to us from the very start! We love you and value you!

What better way to celebrate Juneteenth than with Chitterings! Come out on Saturday June 15, 2024 at the Jones County Civic Center and join in on the fun, food and festivities! Murphytown Seafood & BBQ with be serving up their delicious shrimps, soft shell crabs, alligator and our famous chitterlings! Don’t miss out! Just in case anyone ask, tell them “It’s All In The Sauce”!

This weekend, come out and enjoy the parade in downtown New Bern and then swing by Armstrong Grocery for some good food! On the menu we will have our famous chitterlings, hamburger steak, baked chicken, and more along with our delicious choices of sides like collard greens, yams, and other savory choices !
