Kody from Preferred Marine recommends following these simple steps to protect your @mercurymarine engine to help extend its lifespan: 1️⃣ Lightly mist your engine with saltwater to remove salt residue. 2️⃣ Let your engine dry for 5-7 minutes. 3️⃣ Spray down your engine with CRC 6-56, covering all exposed metal surfaces (Be sure to avoid the flywheel to prevent belt from slipping!)
