Some fun decorating ideas:
Place flowers inside upside down cups and set colorful candles on top to light when the sun goes down

Make a bright backdrop out of different color paper chains. This is also great to use for a photo backdrop and a great way to get kids involved in the event.

A cluster of pom poms, fans and Chinese lanterns makes for a bright and colorful background.

Large, freshly cut leaves can be use for pretty coasters or other table decor. This works especially well here in Florida where beautifully greens are available just about everywhere.

There isn't a single food that defines summer more than S'mores. If you don't have access to a fire pit or a grill, making them can pose quite a challenge. This idea makes things easy, even if you only have a small balcony or no outdoor space at all!

This photo from a recent wedding is a great way to take from a big event and turn it into a dinner party activity. This Sterno S'mores buffet provided guests an easy way to interact with each other and their food, without a bonfire blazing away at the event.

Turning this idea into something that could be done at home wouldn't be too difficult, all you'd need to do is come up a few cans of sterno (or even just one if your party is small) and the accompanying S'mores accoutrement to go with it. It could be done on a patio, or small balcony without any issues and if you're daring — used inside.

Yes, there would be some char and smoke that goes with it, but as long as you request that guests don't fully char their marshmallow, you should be just fine without smoke alarm worry. As an added bonus, your home will have a wonderful campfire smell without having to purchase any scented candles!

Be Beautiful, Whether the Weather
An outdoor wedding can be gorgeous -- and incredibly risky. Have some common sense and always have a backup plan.We will be prepared Whether it's Facility nearby, a ready-to-go tent or a gazebo, we will be sure to keep a secondary venue on hand in case of downpour or hail.
But don't think you're off the hook if the sun is shining on your big day! Even in the most beautiful weather, outdoor weddings have their own sets of hazards and we are pros at off-site events. For the sake of your guests' comfort, try to time your outdoor ceremony in order to miss the hottest hours of the day (roughly 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.). If you must say "I do" at noon, we will see if you can book a venue with a bit of shade.
Be aware of insects and sun, and consider keeping sunscreen and bugspray on hand in case someone comes unprepared. Our team is off-site professionals and will make your event a success.

The best days and times to have your barbecue are Fridays, Saturdays or Sundays, either late afternoon / evening (5-9), or during the day (12-4). Having a larger block of time this way keeps things feeling casual, and it allows your guests to do what they have to do on the weekends, while still being able to attend your barbecue.
