I've been reflecting back on 2024, which was such an incredible year full of ups and downs, naturally. I can't help but feel giddy about how happy the ups have been!

I want to express my gratitude to the 17 birthday parties and 18 community events that I was hired to entertain with my face painting. I have always loved being an artist and I'm ever so grateful that I have found support in my face painting business from my family and community!

2025 already has amazing things in store; I hope to see you all at your special events this year!

Last week was a challenging week to say the least but I’m floored by the kindness and generosity of my community! My entire face painting kit was stolen from my vehicle in Portland around Monday. I’d been working really hard for the last 6 months to build this kit to its fullest potential and was proud of my work! Some of the stuff in the kit had been collected since I first began painting in 2022. I’d invested thousands into this kit just this year alone… devastated didn’t seem like a big enough word to describe how I felt. But I reached out to my friends and family for help getting a new kit together. Many artists offered supplies to get me started, others sent money. Art Factory gave me a special 20% off coupon to help lighten the new haul bill, when that came too late for the order I had to put in to prepare for the 4th this week, they gave me a gift card for the same amount of if I had used the coupon on the order.
I’ll be back on my feet in a few days ready for my busiest event! 4th of July is one of my favorites and I love to spread joy with the magic of painting and glitter ✨ I’ll be hoping for long lines at all my events coming up, it’s the best way to help me recover what’s been lost, one face painting at a time!
Thank you to all the kind folks out there who helped me pick up the pieces to this mess.
